I've seen this kind of share price action play out many times before on AIM miners after a big rise - SOLG, GGP, ALL - to name but a few. I used to panic but you soon realise that it's all the game. If nothing obvious has changed it will recover.

As I type we are back to 25p. My small 23p top up looking good.

For those waiting on the side lines to invest rather than trade in EEE now is a great opportunity. We've hit the classic retracement levels. Lots of news incoming over the next couple of months.

- Drill results from 164 holes/>10,000m of drilling at Thomas

- Finished product, for marketing, from the 70T of bulk samples collected on previous drills.

- Then the big one an MRE on the Thomas prospect.

My experience as an agent is their backlog is still pretty horrendous in most areas of tax.

Losses can be carried forward indefinitely as long as they have been reported to HMRC in the relevant tax year (i.e. via a tax return).

If they haven't previously been reported then correct, the limit is 4 years back.

You can roll forward losses from previous tax years providing they have not been utilised against previous gains.

You need to offset gains with losses from the tax year you are in first.

As far as I know you can roll forward un-utilised CGT losses indefinitely

We've had many days of 10-15% rises so was going to happen.

Any shares you sell in a trading account that you make a loss on can be offset against any gains you made.

Unfortunately that's the only relief you get after taking off the £3k annual relief.

There are some very niche/specific rules around VCTs and EIS, these can allow you to offset losses against income taxes (not just CGT) - apparently this can apply to some listed shares but I've never been able to find any.

Agree with the poster earlier, we'll hopefully see £250-300m market cap pre MRE.

Drilling should be complete in the next week or two, If they release positive grade and intercept results prior to issuing the MRE we may see another jump as it will underpin and de-risk the MRE further.

With you Darbinator, what's in my Sipp can ride for as long as necessary as I'm 20 years off retirement. Who knows by then we may have a massive, highly profitable mine paying decent dividends. My ISA will take some profit at some stage but no rush with the real good stuff still to come.

Assuming no leftfield/surprise news (good or bad) hopefully we'll see a steady few months build in the SP up to MRE in late summer.

Really struggling to find negatives with EEE now. About the only thing I can think is if over the extended area the weathered cap becomes much thinner than expected - however that seems unlikely given the similar geology encountered several Kms away at Cosgrove.

I'm sure many other risks (junior mining and all that) but none giving me cause for concern at the moment.

Just count ourselves luck to be in early. I'm sitting on an average under 4p having first invested in 2021. The hardest thing is seeing the gains and not being tempted to sell! I'm confident that's the right choice for me at the moment because (as you rightly point out) some real value creation points are in the not too distant future. I have my investment strategy - just got to try and stick to it.

The last couple of weeks show that the market is starting to catch on here and believe in the prospect of Pitfield. Big question is when a major might show their hand. They will certainly be aware of us. If they do show up all hell will break loose.

Still lots to prove up and confirm but at the moment this looks as good as any mining project I've ever seen on AIM (and trust me I've been in a lot and found plenty of turds).

Another solid day of consolidation in the share price. Giving a really good base for when the next news arrives.

Hopefully around halfway through the drilling campaign now too.

I wonder if grades for the drilling will be announced when back from the lab or it will all be rolled into one big announcement with the MRE.

Agreed, but that was my point in a way. If this is looking as good as it seems what's to say a big player might not take first mover advantage as Newcrest did.

As far as I can see this project now ticks all the boxes with the exception of that MRE.

Whatever happens it's an exciting share to be invested in, especially if we are heading into a commodities boom cycle.

Fantastic news on the sponge purity. Which should allow EEE to get top dollar for whatever resource it eventually defines.

The boxes gradually getting ticked here de-risking the investment case.

The really interesting thing for me is the Major's - we have plenty of ex-major people working at EEE, so it's hard to believe the big players aren't aware of what is unfolding here, question is who will make a move.

I appreciate majors really wany a de-risked project and many will want that MRE. However (and apologise for using GGP comparison again) GGP did not have an MRE when Newcrest approached with their farm in to gradually earn up to 70% of the project at Havieron.

It may have been coincidence but I recall GGP gathering real momentum after being included in that list. As you say may be something similar for other critical minerals .

I seem to remember (from GGP days) there was some sort of listing that a share gets on, once it was on that the share price shot up. May be the same as you refer to here?

The thing which really blows my mind on the resource size though, is all the great analysis and potential resource calcs posted by ML and Ageos this past week just cover that top < 100m deep,11 sq km of dirt at Thomas. It appears there is something very similar at Cosgrave plus there is everything under that weathered cap at both sites (down several hundred metres) plus the rest of Pitfield, which is largely unexplored.

It could be insane.
