The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Clearly a poster on here who does not seem to understand the difference between a Nomad and a NED.
Or they do and are just here to sow discontent/mis-information.
GCM is AIM listed and there is no legal requirement on it to have 2 NED, however it is considered best practice to follow the governance rule.
I don't want to propogate their thread so apologies for jumping on this one.
Reminds me a bit of the early days in GGP. When they first announced a potential new gold province investors struggled to grasp what it all meant, even, to a degree, after Newcrest came on board.
Look where that went!
Not saying for one minute the same will happen here as lots of proving up to do but when 'Globally significant' starts getting bounded around in RNS's certainly a good time to jump in and start building a position.
Yep Ronnie, market cap is not reflective currently of the potential (but when is it ever on AIM?!).
EEE also not a one trick pony. As well as Pitfield, there's Walton (under explored but prospects for multiple metals inc possibly Li) and Stavely (Copper/Gold/Silver prospect). But the real other potential is at Eclipse-Gindalbie, go back and have a look at the gold grades and shallow depths from the holes drilled at Homeward Bound target reported in March 2022, they are very good.
Prolee have a look at 6 month accounts. End of April cash was £3.5m. Granted we spent £803k on Autins. Costs for 6 months under £600k. So 2/3 of that up to end Jan 2022 is £400k even if they’d doubled that spend with Paraytec still would have £2m cash left.
There’s a lot here for only £10m market cap. Cash alone should be a decent chunk of it.
Also down at TB’s buy in price following the August placing. He’s not someone that generally loses money on his investments…
As someone invested here since TheMAC & Copper Flat days I've been waiting a long time for ECR to mature. I feel the late CB was getting us on the right track, which is why I didn't cash in my chips when the share price rose above my average a year ago.
Was expecting the company to be a bit rudderless for a while after the sudden, sad, passing of Craig but equally getting frustrated by the long hold up for expected assay results and any tangible progress.
Mr Scott's appointment caught me off guard but also got me thinking. If you were a Media Savy presenter in the investments industry
a.) you'd have lots of knowledge and contacts with many companies.
b.) of all those companies why would you risk your reputation (which counts for a huge amount in media) on a small Aim listed miner if they were only finding dust.....
I am intrigued.
Hopefully Mr Scott has a hotline (or the inside line) to some good CEO candidates too. What's Mr G Heddle up to these days?
A lot available here for £16-17m a market capital. Phase Focus could be worth more than that alone. So you could argue a buy at these prices you get Paraytec for free. Net assets in the half year report were around half the current MCap.
Clearly though the market is waiting for:
1.) News of CE granting for Covid test.
2.) Partner to take CX300 to market or buy out of Paraytec.
CX300 is an interesting product due to the applications beyond Covid in a very cost effective (by medical standards) and simple device. This is what I find most exciting and assuming it is capable of what Paraytec say it is surely Companies will be fighting to get their hands on that IP?
So a waiting game but my view is there's value at the current price.
If Accustem eventually makes its listing on the NasDaq then ii's note means it will be able to be held in an ISA as i'm sure they allow this on their platform. The issue would be if it lists somewhere else they don't allow (highly unlikely?) or if it doesn't list at all.
So I see the choice as:
If you don't think it will list convert to ADRs and take your cash.
If you do think it will list hold on and pray!
The conversion costs on the ADRs are high. 10,000 UK Acc shares would convert into 5,000 Acc ADRs current value $0.24x5,000 = $1,200. Conversion fee of 5 cents per ADR issued = $250! Then tax of $18 (assuming on the full $1,200)
So actual received would be $932 or £685 at today's FX rate of 1.36.
Pretty crappy when you consider the SP was riding around £1.50-£2.00 when Acc was spun out.
From the bottom of the Audioboom page.... all this for £12m:

Agreed donotpanic, good RNS and all bets are off as is the SP.
Chatter earlier about SP highs. The highest intraday price was 140p, I know because I was hovering over the sell button but held out.... that turned out to be a mistake!
Strong start to the week. Company pointed to news in September, probably on multiple fronts. Reckon we'll get an intraday RNS? BRH quite fond of those. Always sends the share price crazy as people scamble in (or out!),
Well that's my final top (10k shares income at 16:19 up to bring my average down to a nice level. I agree Landy7 would be nice to get news next week. Although I think Tricky Trev will hang around to give himself a big fat special divi once Paraytec is sold or similar.
Any time from 11pm UK time this eve. Pre-Market on the ASX opens at 7am Aus/11pm UK and ASX market at 10am Aus/1amUK
