At this rate it's going to finish at the day and 52 week high. Great end to the week. Hope the momentum continues next week.
Looking out for Bailieston news first, will be interesting to see what's offered and how it's structured.
I'll gladly take an 8% rise every day between now and news.....
Hopefully not much longer to wait. I have to admit seeing the maps of the concession areas on those twitter posts you do realise ECR's licences are surrounded by some big companies.
Agree jojos if they can land a deal structured similarly to GGPs (which based on CB’s interview sounds like what they want at Creswick) then we should see the rerate. By how much will of course depend on the details of the deal....
Don’t worry Sipptrader, I am in a similar position. XTR, NUOG, PREM, GWMO, Total dogs and down percentages similar to those, not to mention the ones that don’t even exist anymore... Nyota minerals, Mysquare, New World Gas and oil....
Thankfully there have been the odd real gems And more recently some good Covid plays that have left me broadly even after 9 years investing.
It’s a funny thing tho sometimes it’s almost as satisfying getting back even after a long time at a loss as it is making profit!!
Not sure FDBK fits into 'mid-cap' just yet but if this is showing II support for where this could go that is very encouraging.
Not sure when the plan was to stop offering Bleepa for free (just said for the duration of the crisis which could be a long time!) but hopefully get some sort of supply/subscription contracts in place soon to give some confidence in future revenues that will help this re-rate.
Absolutely boffin. Profit first would be lovely.
Also a bit of perspective, GGP have what looks like one of the biggest gold discoveries in the last decade close to a near end of resource producing mine (Telfer) that Newcrest is desperate to keep feeding and as a result is drilling the sh-ite out of Haverion at their own cost.
I think ECR has some good acreage but at the moment haven't done nearly enough exploration to warrant massive value.
Is it undervalued for what it has tho, yes I believe so, by how much remains to be seen.
For the record I am invested in both and have been here since the Copper Flat days. Hopeful one day i will see a return on my investment here ..... may just about beat the bank over 8 years and counting...
Flying up in the US now. A good sign for next week.
I wonder when we'll hear more about the record date and plan for the Stemprint spin out.
Too true :-) Don't worry PL75. This will get there, if not in the short term in helping the world get back to normal with Covid mass testing and therapies. Then in the longer term with the Affirmer Cancer therapies.
Just been researching Sequoia, mind blown. If links are to be believed. that's some serious pedigree to be investing in a UK small cap, which is as good an indication as any as to the potential here. Various threads mention Mr Buffett's involvement.
One blot on their CV (ironically) is another pharma which lost them $1.2b in a single day! As long as we don't turn into another Valeant Pharmaceuticals we're onto a winner...
Fair play PL75 that's quite a find. No mention of Avacta here (unsure if all affirmer tech is ours?) but clinical evidence of an affirmer inhibiting a virus being able to spread.
Covid-19 is nasty enough but thank god nowhere near as nasty as that Congo-Crimean thing sounds...
Yep I agree BigBench and pretty sure all that time and effort put into building the Nightingale hospitals was not just for one wave. They are basically on standby for now but ready for when wave 2 starts. Hopefully that's not winter.
