I remember the midges on Skye had an impact on our camping!...although they mightn't have been as bad as in your fishy tail -lol. Arivruaich, on the border of Lewis and Harris was my one and only fishing trip....1975 I think it was- oh my goodness. The fish were practically jumping out the loch into the boat.

Yes BBB - I remember you were pilloried for suggesting it might slip in to 2020. I wonder who'll be right.

In other news perhaps our gold, when we get it later this year lol, will have special qualities that will make midge repellant 100% effective. That would boost sales exponentially on our home turf and would even benefit Canonbie's tourist plans. Enough jesting....it's a serious article which might help further boost the gold price.
