We all believe we're on the cusp of something huge.

Any company - I'm not talking about individual punters here - selling up now, whether that is Rathlin themselves or Connaught, right before the news we're all so eagerly anticipating seems very strange timing.

If they have to sell a slice of their existing pie on Tuesday in order just to keep going, that is very bad timing for the seller....but agreed, better that than having to fold. Are things really that bad?

If RBD wants to buy more of Rathlin, would the seller in that transaction be Rathlin itself?

Why would they sell now if by keeping more of their own company themselves they'd get that much more from a successful West Newton, and hopefully in very short order?

I can see the attraction from the buyer's perspective but not, at this moment in time, the seller's.

Last week we were poised to pour some concrete at the Crom All Bridge - did it happen? I haven't seen any further update anywhere.

Similarly the equipment that we were told was en route - has it all arrived? Is it up and running or is some still awaited?

The keenly anticipated news kind of fizzled out like the Scotland football team's attacks.

A handful of trades went through earlier on NEX so encouragingly people are still buying.

All that you quote accurately plus today's publicity and no movement at all. I bet a few shareholders hold more than the total traded today....an RNS day with good news. If the buyers didn't come flooding in today, why will they tomorrow?

I've been in for almost a year and sitting quite pretty....but it's been a few weeks since we've enjoyed some sustained movement north. That was all.

Today's news and interviews were great but have had no material effect on the share price.

With so many holders already being "all in" and patiently waiting for news, what's going to entice new waves of buyers?

What time is the council's decision due? I haven't been this excited about a planning meeting since Wressle late last year which unfortunately went the wrong way. lol

Also, assuming the market makers aren't present in the room how can they change the share price quicker than anyone can hit the buy or sell button? How do they get the news instantly?

There are some great figures being bandied about here and on Twitter with varying degrees of analysis and calculations to back them up.

3 pence seems quite average these days, I've seen 5 pence on Twitter and a penny now seems rather unambitious.

The highest I've seen was 16.66 pence based on a simple equation: WN has to be worth £1 a share to Rathlin and we have 16.66% of that. Count me in if this one is accurate!.....or even closest.

Yes, I'm serious and appreciate many of your posts here and on Twitter but I felt confident before the interview about all the points you list other than TW's lesson in Geography which I have no interest in.

Nothing I wrote could be construed as anti DB.........I'm in full agreement with what you write......but wondered if it was a good use of time for him and us, particularly given the slightly strange line of questioning. That was all.

(But you're ok if a person says one thing whilst doing another provided their m.o. can pay for a trip to Monte Carlo, aren't you? Way to go!)

It was all reading between the lines, inferring this and that.......all of which we knew before. The questions weren't helpful or phrased very well either in my view.

It may or may not have helped TW's quest to become a serious interviewer but there was no upside for us and nor could there be right now. Waste of time.
