My take is that the current situation is immensely serious for the elderly and those with pre-existing health conditions. I have elderly relatives myself and feel that if any of them caught it, it would be a death sentence.

For other folks, however, it seems to have no serious effects whatever and current measures could lead to absolute devastation of the markets with all that that entails for our way of life. My hope is that as we see the streets are not filled with rotting corpses we can resume a more normal way of life without endangering those at most risk.

Time alone will tell.

The future seemed so bright a year ago when we were lured in by "once in a lifetime" statements (and not by bulletin board posters).

"could live with $35 a barrel" is another quote I seem to remember but even if the price stays above that, sentiment will not be good after OPEC+ failed to reach agreement.

The main reason they should mark it up is 'cos a nice bright blue would make me feel better about my holding here!

The last three sells were all above .61 and the most recent went through at .62.

Using your normal method of buying or selling shares online you put in - in this case - the number of shares you wish to sell.

A few seconds later, you are offered a price for the shares you wish to sell but instead of clicking to proceed with the trade, you don't.
A harmless activity but maybe a bit pointless more than a couple of times a month.

Looks like we're off.....hopefully no retrace this time.

For a dummy sale the price offered was .622.

Come on market makers - stop being lazy and mark it up :-)

I'm hoping there will be some sort of news between now and May otherwise the next three months might be reminiscent of the bad old days.....not so much a roller coaster ride but a bungee jump without the elastic.
