To complement the technical analysis posted a few days ago, my historical analysis lol suggests that everyone who has bought (and oh, so dearly held) shares here since January 2014 is now in profit on those individual transactions. (Obviously this excludes the buys today.)

Even between January 2011 and September 2013 is looking marginally less tragic. Still between 13% and a gut-wrenching 82% down.

All imo.

DB's forte seems to be in making deals in oil and gas and hats off to him for that. He really seems to know his stuff and does that very well.

If, however, he for a second time entrusts others who have already let him down a first time to carry out 'the city stuff' then he should reflect on that. We all have!

Imagine if he hosed out those who to me seem to have acted less than honestly with the information they had and replaced them with people and companies we could all trust.

Sure, their monthly fees might be marginally higher but those costs would be recouped manyfold.

Just imagine: We are pleased to announce that as from today, A* Company will deal with all matters pertaining to X,Y and Z. Matters relating to P and R (just random letters you understand) are now dealt with by B Star Company. We look forward to working with our new professional partners (and thank our previous partners for everything they have done) as we enter a new and exciting era for UJO.

Ok GreyPanther, the process might not be as ideal as we might have wished. No problem.

That means we were reliant on 'professional' companies and people to perform their duties as per the, perhaps not ideal, rules. Other AIM companies manage without halving their market value.

First time round, did they not prove that through leaks or whatever they would destroy the share price and our market capital?

Why did we use the same companies and people a second time?

Is it the company's intention to continue to use them in the future?

It's all speculation of course but I also "do not think UJO leaked this information."

But! - did they not use the same companies and individuals to handle the placing who last time by their actions well and truly f***** up the share price and the market capital? It took months to recover.

Why did they use the same 'leakers and friends' as last time when there was a proven track record of what they would do with their privileged information?

To do the same thing with the same people and expect a different result or be satisfied with the same result.....where does the buck stop for that?

The company did for a second time - therefore presumably knowing what would happen - what it did previously, and with the same result. Who could have guessed that would happen, eh?

What are they planning next week for an encore?

Particularly with all the great things that are happening on the ground, it's difficult to know whether to describe the company's wrecking of the share price as a tragedy or a farce.

Somebody is though and the way the MMs drop the price on even a few tiny sells would make you think our building was built on the sands rather than on the.......err, concrete.

It's as if the shambles (AGAIN!) accompanying a near 50% drop in our market value and having more than 19 billion shares in office is dulling the mood a little on what should have been a fantastic day given the news.

Having just listened to the FM's speech to the Scottish Parliament it very much sounds as if the new restrictions will have no impact on Scotgold's activities. Certainly hope so.
