Good morning everyone,

On this date a year ago I was still averaging down and bought some SGZ at .376.

By the time of my next purchase on 16 October the price had shot up .77.

More of the same please, Scotgold!

A reminder of what The Herald carried last year at this time.

The last paragraph where it refers to taking, "several years of work to get to the point where we think there’s enough for us to build another mine.” - aren't we expecting news of a second mine and beyond much sooner than that quote implies?

That's quite a claim.

Hopefully there will be no good news or progress reported next week or we'll be back down to .0025.

My first and ill-timed purchase was in late January 2011 at 7 pence. Bought quite a few that year :-(

I hope these milestones alone will make any rummage down the back of the sofa well worthwhile and pretty soon:

1. News of the imminent concrete pour. Whether or not it merits an RNS, it might provide another boost to the price.
2. The documentary that was being filmed - any update on the broadcast date(s)? Great publicity.
3. The announcement of the new target date - the one what was shunted from late last year to February and then to May before Covid delayed it even further. A lot of pressure to get that date right this time but should generate a lot of interest if this time it’s really going to happen.
4. The anticipation during the build up to the big day in 3 above, the date itself with all the publicity and the immediate aftermath.

Those four bode well without any new encouraging technical data, mammoths, new mines, length of mine announcements and so on…..just four racing certainties.

All in my opinion of course.

Morning all,

A friend of mine who is a professor at Imperial College did some financial modelling on the share price and reckons it will hit a tenner by Halloween.

For those of us here since pre-consolidation, £1.20 seems rather paltry after such a long wait.

The small buy this morning was my final, final addition to my holding.

Lockdown measures eased. Oil up. Other oil companies up. FTSE up. DOW up.

We're more than 3% down.

Thoughts?

The company's Twitter account states that the company "starts delivery of equipment for preassembly today"

The share price seems to be taking a breather today.

Onwards and upwards next week.

From today's FM briefing it seems that workers will now be able to return to construction sites gradually.

Is there some news or rumour somewhere?

We're gonna need a bigger boat.

I wondered where and when that article would be published - I can't see a date on it - as I remember seeing something about her visit on this board an on Twitter.

Thursday - thankfully with each passing day there is more and more real-life data to rely on rather than farcically wrong modelling.
