I would listen to Halfsovereign with their interview comments. Every CEO comes across positive and confident in those proactive interviews. They get asked pre agreed questions so their answers are all prepared to sound as good as they can. Its their job to do so.

I'm not saying UOG is not doing the right things. It is, but to read anything into the way Brian talks in a pre prepared interview isn't a great idea

I was waiting for someone to come out with the Guy ISA thing again. That's all cesp used to say. Guy has put shares in his ISA so it means something is happening. Wake up. Nothing is happening. It's a big swizz where all these men are helping each money by giving each other poultry contracts so they can RNS them or and buying each others companies for much more then they're worth.

Guy is putting shares in his ISA because he already has them. Why wouldn't be use his full ISA allowance? If he didn't put shares he had in his ISA it would be just stupid. It doesn't change anything. He can sell them the same as if they weren't in an ISA.

If I gave you £20k worth of shares and you could put them somewhere that gets taxed or somewhere that doesn't, where are you going to put them?

I agree hippo but 99% people invest in a company to make money off the share. Seeing the company perform is all well and good but without the share price going up all you have is a form of savings thats not really growing. Dividends would change that but there is none here and it doesn't sound like there will be any soon.

Honestly, I don't know. I can guess that there's a background seler but there are many faotrs that still don't make sense with that theory. This is one of the reasons I have now exited UOG. I don't like that no-one can explain why the SP is pegged back after every good news. Good luck if you're holding.

I've started selling my holding with a view to exiting entirely. I just don't believe it's ever going to move fast enough to get the market interested and push the SP to where it should be.

If Jamacia came off then it would start a re-rate but this isn't going to be until at least next year before we hear on that front. That's If it even happens at all. We'd need a major on board and a few of them have said they're not looking for any new drill sites due to trying to go green. Good luck to you all who have a little more patience to wait this out but I've been in UOG almost 4 years now and I'm only up 30%. If this was just a little fun money for me I'd just leave it but UOG is 100% of my portfolio so I wanted a little more SP progress in 4 years.

The cash point people have made below is a valid one that I noticed this morning too.

Well you must have lots of money. According to your posts you have 100% of your investments in CTEA and 100% of your investments in 88E. DSo you're so rich that you don't have 100% like the rest of us. You have 200% available to invest. What a live you must lead.

I'd love that bebeto but I just can't see beyond the normal pattern. Start the day 10-20% up then finish around 5% up. Next day or 2 we're back where we started.

I dont think the news is exciting enough to get people piling in and flush out that background seller. The only reason we broke through that 3p resistance was because bobbyoflondon, sasha and maybe some other I don't know about took out a huge seller by buying their £300k worth of stock.
