The current optimism is possibly simply due to the recent disclosure of an ongoing relationship with ST? The sensor market continues to evolve and expand, and Nano's expertise in the area is obviously still relevant and active. Such news tends to highlight the credibility and potential scope of Nano's IP.

True. I suppose this is a continuation of the company's tradition of telling fairy stories in their trading updates. This one is less imaginative than previous authors, but it has a touch of mystery, and maybe it will have a surprise twist when they concoct the next chapter.

Presumably you mean he does NOT have any shares? Any evidence for that?
The press release says "thereby acquiring" suggesting he has owned the shares since subscribing, and also that they are trying to "recover" the funds for them, which would be odd if he didn't own any. Either way, it doesn't explain what he is playing at. The announcement of his subscription materially affected the price at the time, now it looks misleading?

The Economist this week has a short piece about the latest attempt by state prosecutors to have Samsung's de facto boss Lee Jae-Yong, and two other directors arrested. The judge decided he could await his latest trial at home instead.

The value in M&G is blindingly obvious, and has been since the split. The only question is why the market cannot see it, and why it was marked down so heavily in the COVID-19 crash: unlike many higher rated stocks, it needed no support from government, furloughed no-one, and laid off no staff.

The massive and ongoing dividend also seems to get scant attention from financial journalists, even when they are specifically focusing on dividend payers. Shares with smaller and less reliable payouts seem to get highlighted instead, for some reason. Good that IC has woken up, others may follow.

I read this as building on Venn and CF's skills in negotiating the tricky regulatory environments. It is great for Venn's reputation as it shows a major company is happy with previous contract work, and it is another major step in making them profitable, a remarkably swift and impressive turnaround of what is now merely one aspect of a valuable portfolio.

All the US markets seem to be in denial about future prospects - they've regained all their losses when economists are forecasting major recession? The failure of antibody testing, reported by one scientist, even if verified only opens up more opportunities for new tests targeting other immune system indicators, and as well as flu and COVID-19, another virus is probably just around the corner. Can't see ORPH running out of business any time soon, they will probably need to raise further money for expansion, if anything.

As the Bharti's own about two thirds of AAF, I think Amazon's notional influence would be more like 3.3% Chunky? Still relatively insignificant, but EPS could possibly be enhanced if Amazon get involved offer marketing ideas, synergies or tie-ups. In Africa, the competition is quite different to India, and the growth prospects seem far bigger. For example, AAF only operate in 14 countries, leaving whole swathes untouched: e.g. most of Francophone West Africa.

Thanks MrIndia, very interesting about the governance from Indian HQ. I previously thought AAF had more independence, but details in the prospectus also indicate a fair degree of reliance on the parent company's systems. The undervaluation seems obvious, but nice to have it confirmed by an insider. Any reasons for it, you are aware of? Anyway it's going in the right direction now. I think those satisfied with the recent gains may be missing the bigger picture, this surely has a long way to go to reach fair value?

Net debt down from £45.3 (31 march) to £38M (31 May). "The Board expect net debt to reduce further during the second half of 2020." They are silent on the suspended dividend, so presumably they will be using revenue to pay down debt instead. Hopefully shareholders will be compensated by a rising share price.
