@dsfat - they were messing about for days with fishing tools down the well which are used to rectify things such as dropped tools, something broken in the well, something stuck etc. It is not unusual for this to occur as these things happen but it was an added delay. Looks like they have moved on from this now so onwards and upwards

Im still here and now holding just over 17m - I was one of them pointing out the fishing operations on twitter its just one of those things it happens and looks like they have resolved what ever issue they were having. Didn't scare me into selling but I was just being open and pointing out what they were actually doing on site while others either went quiet or were false ramping which helps no one. Lots of positive news to follow shortly so silly to sell at this stage.

Thanks for replying BlackGold23 - i think you need to re-read the discussion. I pointed out that a wireline was not required for a magnet only a slickline in relation to a earlier comment of his. I then got some googled definitions of different types of line used in the industry. Which again didn't make any sense as he started talking about braid line.... i would be worried if that was the case and they started fishing with braid line as that tends to be used for heavy fishing operations such as broken pipe down the well. If you really must know just over 700k UKOG and 17m ALBA if you really want to start comparing d**k sizes. Pboo just interested in your comment about the wireline for a magnet earlier. What would the purpose for a wire line be in this fishing situation if they were using a magnet? Reason I ask is a slick like would be sufficient for a magnet as there is no need for data feedback? Do we all know the difference between slick line verses wire line?

Pboo junk baskets can connect to the bottom on the pipe sting - some are reverse circulating and some contain magnets. There are tools for both wireline and pipe it just depends exactly what they are doing

Pboo thanks for replying at least we can have a decent discussion with yourself in my opinion I don't believe it was a drill bit but but a Junk basket or magnet these are the sort of things its good to have open discussions about. As I said the pictures etc are brilliant and I praise them for posting them but everyone should make their own opinion from what they see/read and do their own research and not take someone elses word for it.

Exactly - the guys on site are very helpful with what they post but often the truth is bent and they report things that are not actually happening (such as drilling last week when it was in fact fishing) hence you have to make your own mind up and trust no one. And then they go quiet which is understandable when they know things that could drop the SP. If you point anything out that is negative etc or disagree with them they block you which again is stupid as you can still view tweets by not being signed in no absolutely pointless but they don't want people commenting anything negative or contradicting while they are ramping. Being invested doesn't mean that you cant say anything bad - there are positives and negatives in everything in life nothing should stop you discussing both and expressing a fair view. I have been invested here for a number of years through good and the bad we know how it all works. But no on here as soon as you say or point something out that is not truly positive you suddenly become a deramper/troll/swampy. The joys of LSE/Twitter
