A key point from the #ANGS RNS today is "The BRX4Z sidetrack has now been successfully re-perforated from 988-1044m" This does not mean that Angus will only be testing from 56m of the well just 988-1044m was section was the only section "re-perforated". Previously the well was perforated from 960m onwards so there is at least another 26m up to flow from and we don't know at what depth they installed the bridge plug at so could be even more still down.

I think it's more likely to be the 5% at brockham that we sell off to start with. I have no concerns over a placing at the moment at there is no way George Frangeskides will do one at a discount to this already majorly undervalued SP. George Frangeskides will loan the company money again before he ever did this. Remember he showed his confidence and commitment recently by buying shares himself at a premium.

There is no drop the spread has been 0.23/0.25 for couple of days now - your just looking at the last trade price which was a sell #FALSENEWS

Ian12 its an exploration company you idiot they have to follow a set strict workflow of the JORC code and sampling is a big part of that. You dont open a mine and get planning etc on the off chance when you start to dig you might find something. They are making good unexpected progress in reopening the mine and planning permission. ALBA have actually done alot with this project in the short time.

I disagree - large volumes of shares in alba are hard to buy. There will be some shorts also closing on this now (i know there were some sorts open but under the percent limit to disclose as I had issues moving 17million shares from one of my brokers but i won't go into that now). Also its a case of ALBA are a small company not well known.... when this hits the media later/tomorrow buys will fly in.

I think it could be many bags for ALBA now this year with this news!

Angus Energy (AIM: ANGS) is pleased to announce that the Brockham work programme continues as planned with a slight modification in the order of stage 1 operations. The decision was taken earlier this week by operatives on site to perforate the well before isolating the water, in order to allow greater certainty that we have identified the water zone before plugging. It has not caused any delays and no additional approvals were required for this minor change in operational activity. The work programme at Brockham is proceeding as per the schedule described in our 3 April 2019 announcement which allocated 19 working days for this stage of the programme. Work is still expected to complete, as scheduled on Tuesday 7th May. Work commenced three days earlier than expected on April 9th and our planning consent only permits us to work until midday on Saturdays (half days) and not at all on Sundays or Bank Holidays. Therefore there was no work carried out at all between Friday 19th and Monday 22nd and there will be no work carried out on Monday 6th May.

Baits my guess is they are perforating again following UKOG's conclusion that acid washing blocks the kim limestone fractures.

To let you all know the order of operations changed. We decided to re-perf first then isolate the water, makes more sense. Operations going well, safely and on budget.

Not sure what all the panic is about it makes sense to re-pref first in case they encounter any further water. Or would you prefer them to isolate water, then re-perf and accidentally hit more water then have to go through the whole process again??

Alan just remember there might not be any work allowed on Fri then Sat morning and Monday as detailed in the work programme :"We also may have council restrictions over the Easter period. These shall be confirmed shortly." So rig down might not start till Tuesday. Other then that looks like you have been and are spot on as usual
