E_AL yes they had approval for the nodding donkey but vonk the donkey tried to copy UKOG with the linear and once he did that it was too late to go back to the approved pump - maybe a oversight on his part with planning who knows? I never said i read anywhere about a removal order i said clearly it was all theoretical but time line seems to stack up. It was more likely picked up on a inspection and removed there and then but at this point it had already upset SCC.

E_AL i think you missed the part where they installed the wrong pump (not the one specified on the approved planning at the time) and upset SCC. Was no going back from that point - again this required as such another retrospective planning permission after they were ordered to remove it.

Timelines seem to suggest the following: 1) December Angus installed the linear pump on the well and upset SCC as it breached planning permission 2) SCC stopped operations as they said they would in the last planning meeting saying they didnt trust vonk (and his big mouth) and will be watching closely which obviously they did hence spotting the pump installed. (They might of requested any oil to be removed from site (hence we saw tankers) and connections removed from well head etc (as per drone footage) till issue was resolved. 3) Angus submitted planning for linear pump 4) SCC made it clear that approval will only be made or final warning etc unless Vonk is outed and someone else takes over. Leaving vonk in place could make any further planning very very difficult. 5) Vonks kicked out and suddenly planning today is approved Thoughts? Again this is only a theory but seems to add up. I do not think there is anything wrong with the well just Angus have only been able to do what SCC have let them while the planning dispute has been going on - hence Lenigas being annoyed with Vonk. Fingers crossed we get boom time now

Tony you say "Angus put up a linear rod pump" please advise when they did this and evidence? You also say "Sid says Surrey were not impressed by this and asked them to pack up and submit details of the new equipment" please provide evidence of this? At the moment this seems like more organised share price manipulation and scaremongering. The original planning application makes it clear that the use of a pump may be required at a later date during the 18 months of testing as the pressure drops off and it is initially expected to free flow to surface so what if they have submitted an amendment to change this to a linear pump so they can use one at a later date. I will also note for your reference that the planning application is to be decided by Delegated Powers so it is just a tick box process.

"Kimmeridge testing will begin in the uppermost KL4 oil pool immediately following the removal of two suspension plugs and installation of a new completion string straddling the two Kimmeridge oil pools."

but that didn't happen did it? Plans change and I see this as a good thing. It seems to be that we might get the results in one go as it looks to all be all one connected layer which again is one of the objectives UKOG wanted to prove during these EWT. I am sure this is going better then anyone ever imagined.

Pump still on the well? I'm starting to wonder if SS has deviated from the testing order again and gone to "Test 5: a new short duration test of the previously untested deeper KL2 and or KL1 zones" makes engineering sense instead of going back down the entire well after KL4. Also could explain why production seems to of dropped down to 1 tanker a day and the pump is constantly on (ignore the fact there was two today remember no tankers allowed on sundays). This is similar to when we were concerned by the lack of tankers for KL4 only for it to be RNS'd that they were in fact testing KL3 first instead which suddenly made sense and matched the amount of tankers being seen. Again I am only logically guessing as none of us know exactly what is going on but what are your thoughts?

Fingers crossed this is them finally moving onto KL4 but just be mindful this is now at least the 3rd time over a couple of weeks FOTH has reported they have finished KL3 moved onto the KL4. While the pictures he posts are a great resource the comments that go with them are guess work and can be very misleading so DYOR and make of them what you will
