Even if the SC outcome is detrimental to CBG I still don’t expect the sp to drop. That isn’t in my experience how share prices work. They don’t always follow logic but instead reflect emotions.
An investor who plays it safe will wait for the outcome of the hearing. If it’s negative for CBG, wait for the sp to plummet and then buy with a certainty for an increase from thereafter. Unfortunately, I don’t think it’s that easy. You have to ignore the emotions telling you not to buy until after the outcome and buy before it. If the outcome is negative, I expect it rise modestly, eg 20%. If it’s positive for CBG then hopefully a massive rise.
The timing is important though. Do you buy now and accept it may continue to fall throughout June or wait until July and hope you’ve not missed the boat?
I’ve only got profits from buying in November invested, so not losing sleep over it and can gamble without having to listen to my emotions.
