It is only by monitoring as best one can the political/economic situation in Nigeria that one can attempt to estimate when that turning point in oil production is likely to occur from such sites as OML18. When oil production rises significantly SLE can once again start to think about implementing the completiom of the ELI project and hopefully even the "big" plan in a style such as achieved by Seplat. If the Nigerian situation were to "dramatically" improve there would be no end of investors falling over themselves to invest through SLE into OML18. development.
