Zero news from Fanning depressing news from Nigeria on the behaviour of the NNPC towards the new Dangote refinery in Lagos - firstly with their claim they cannot supply oil to the biggest refinery in Africa, then demand despite having contributed nothing to its construction, offices within the refinery to effectively block the sale of the much-needed product onto the local market instead suggesting the refinery export its output.

In another report, NNPC is still dragging its feet on becoming a limited company (I wonder why) which would allow it to access funds through the open market to complete repairs to the oil pipelines, currently they claim that they have no money for repairs to any oil pipelines - you couldn't make it all up!
