We secured a permit variation from the Environment Agency on Friday 24th April 2020. This enables us to recommence our well test using a pumpjack (nodding donkey) and a smaller incinerator unit. Once the required personnel and equipment are available the testing operations will recommence.

4th July this weekend.... reckon they might be in position to get going..... perhaps

IMIC-1 is being set up right now and gas should be flowing shortly....

Then there is the small matter of WN-B in August.. and IMIC-2.....

We are not all wanting 10p matey, 2 will do!

Vote against the remuneration at the AGM.

I have emailed JP once in the past about something on here and he replied in person within 24 hours. So he does read his email.

DJ....you always say you are off for 4-5 months.... and then post 24hrs later. You need a calendar!

Surprised's post makes sense. I do think all this has been very very poor for LTH's. But the SP as it is now, after the raise is an opportunity and sellers would be doing so only under duress,I would suspect.

Also, micro analysing the wording of RNS's might be something you like to do DV, but i'm not sure it's any guide to the future.

Though, I repeat, I get why anyone might be very hacked off with this. Better news ahead I hope.

Hi gorsuch, I have just been reading the BB having been in SML in the past. What a carry on!

I would like to say first that I really feel for all who have been in here long term. I was fortunate to sell at 1.6 a while back, only because i wanted to buy elsewhere, no crystal ball for me....unlike some.

Hopefully some money will find it's way back to SML. Looking at today's trades i would guess that some of the very negative posters are 'back in' even if they were hoping for .3's

I would note that after the raise and with the PEPR due soon that most of the bad news seems to be behind rather than infront of SML.

But who knows.....

I agree petebo. Very clear indication of what they consider will be the outcome here. Parta also has the potential to be VERY significant and so Persimmon is incorrect about that above. A classic fear mongering post to encourage a few sells at 30% below raise price. Very naughty.

Initial Parta news will come before WN but all that could be beaten by a deal that no-one has any idea about.....

In these days of scrutinised corporate governance and ESG, have a report such as this is very valuable if you are in the business of marketing an asset to a prospective buyer. It's another tick in an important box. The lack of SP response shows it is not really understood but it along with the low-cost nature of this asset make the WN prospect very valuable indeed. SP is a steal nd the clock now is really running down for the 'wait and see' brigade. not so relaxing if one is out..... eh?

...since the Romania update on 16th April... I would have thought progress is being made and an update is due any time on:

A prospective exploration block in a proven and producing hydrocarbon province in Romania
1200km2 acreage with eleven identified leads
Mean unrisked prospective resources 303 bcf of gas and 47 MMbbl of oil
Located in a politically stable European community with favourable tax and royalty conditions
Easy access to local infrastructure and European markets

as the 16th April RNS says:

IMIC-2 Appraisal Drilling

Site preparation with local contractors for the IMIC-2 well have already commenced in preparation for future drilling operations planned in Q3 2020. The IMIC-2 well has a planned total depth of 2,200 metres with approximately 23 days to drill and evaluate.



IMIC-1 Testing Programme

Danube has deferred the testing of the successful IMIC-1 well given that some of the required services need to be imported from neighbouring Hungary. Since late March, Romania has closed its borders restricting access to essential personnel and imported goods. At this stage, Danube expects that Romanian borders will remain closed until mid-May and currently anticipates the testing programme to take place in June 2020. Once the borders re-open and testing can take place, it is expected that IMIC-1 will be completed as a future production well to minimise cost to commercial production and better preserve reservoir integrity. Testing will concentrate on the Pannonian IV sand, which is a proven reservoir and has the greatest reserves potential.

I have bottled out of trading this at this time as I think surprising news really could land very soon. If one of my other stocks did a nice jump it would be in here at .6 in a trice. GLA BH
