West newton is the main event, Parta is very significant as there are lots of other potential targets in the area and Romania will need lots of gas for a long time to come...

I'm not sure who does them but they often mask the actual price at both sides of the spread. If a small but appears at .619, the actual ask will be .612 or something when you try to buy. Same applies to the bid.

I think Rubey means that any cash reserves RBD has are just that, as funds from the £24 million raise have already been passed to Rathlin for the 2020 work program. 18th December RNS:

The programme (at WN-A) will include pulling the existing completion assembly from the well, running a new tubing and pumping bottom hole assembly and the installation of a pumping wellhead. These operations will be followed by the running in of the pump and well rods and the installation of a surface pumping unit. The well will then be pumped to recover load fluid, directing all recovery through the test unit and incinerator. The well will be monitored for inflow and, following the EWT, will be shut in and suspended.



The estimated cost of this additional work is well within the original well test budget.



Furthermore, statutory planning permissions are in place to drill two additional wells, West Newton B-1 and B-2, the locations of which are considered to be optimal to test the Kirkham Abbey formation and test the potential of the prognosed Cadeby formation, a further, highly important and potentially high value target.



Rathlin is fully funded for the 2020 work programme.

So are ADX for Parta IMIC-1 and 2.

Subsequently RBD made the Humber '£1.4million plus 350,000,000 shares for their 16.67% of WN' deal. We await formal confirmation.

Any way you cut it there is a big disconnect between the UJO SP and RBD SP based on percentages of WN owned.

Therefore, there is only one conclusion. Yes. The SP is being held down for a 'technical' reason to allow someone to benefit from a low SP for a few more days/weeks. As B well spud approaches it is going to look more and more suspicious.

Hence the coiled spring analogy.

Basically, you were right GP when you said it should be .8p now. Still below .9p placing but closer. This close to spud and EWT makes .6p look very silly.

I think what you will see in the next few day is some very big buying. Approx 6 weeks ago this charged from .42 to .65 in the space of a day. This time it will be .6 to .8 ish, again in a day or two.

I totally agree O2B, the Parta reaction shows how cynical they are. Opened at .48 and has not been priced in at all. the current SP does not even reflect the WN value as you and others have been saying.....

O2B has quite rightly for weeks being saying 'Follow the money'. It's a good point and a good start. This is my take on the whole deal, starting from........

Last year I bought this on a whim at .58 and sold at a tiny profit a few days later, knowing next to nothing about the company. Nothing. Then I watched the SP jump up over 1p in a fairly short space of time and top out at 1.4p. This was the A2 find...

I cursed my luck and switched off. I did not look at RBD again until January this year. I could see the deal at .9p, £24 million raised and 2.7 billion more shares in issue. 6.7 billion in total. Eyebrows raised. Hmmmm... Read about West Newton and could feel all the excitement about what could be a big, big find ONSHORE UK.....NEAR to LOTS of INFRASTRUCTURE. Very very interesting.....

Watched the SP keep falling....was tempted below .7p and then suddenly it was below .6p and I had a nibble at .58p...

Then we had Saudi / Opec oil madness and Covid and everything melted. This reached .24p (mental, less than what was in the bank effectively) Did not manage that but had a few at .28 and .31. Now we are back to .6 and Brent is just shy of $43. $50 later in year....

So what on earth is going on? Well, the II's who funded the £24 million raise at .9p MUST have been mighty impressed with the A2 well result, even without the EWT we are waiting on. The Kirkham Abbey has the potential to get RBD to 2p on its own. But the deeper Cadeby has an even bigger potential, IF it has OIL.

There is only one way to find that out. If it does and lots of it, then 4-5p is on the cards. It's by NO MEANS guaranteed but a good result from the first B drill will make those investing here very happy people.

If B1 is a dud, it is by no means over. B2 is planned to target the KA formation with a lateral drill. So much more well length in the formation. If that is good, and there is a much greater likelihood it will be then it's bingo time anyway but maybe 2-3p.

5p will UTTERLY CHANGE MY LIFE. If B1 hits the black stuff in the Cadeby I'm going to be dancing around the living room.

It's all a risk. Drills were done in the area before with no success. The A wells last summer were looking for gas. They were never expecting oil. Hence the excitement of a 65 metre HC column, the bottom 2/3rds of which was OIL.

It really is very very exciting. If you don't fancy this and you look at the cash injected at .9p then i don't know what you do fancy!!?? Really.

That's my take. Risk, sure but pretty good odds with two distinct runners in the race. Plus the gas in Romania which they will get. also with pipes and plant very hear by.

Yes GP. I essentially agree although I like the look of ADX and I think Parta will be a valuable asset in due course. I think they will sort I-1 and at the very worst learn for I-2. They seem like a good operator. I do not know about Corallion and the US is a small deal that appears to at least wash its own face. So no problem there.

II’s appear to have invested 6:1 on WN : Parta. The Rathlin PDF linked last night shows the complexity of WN with drills in the 1980’s 6 km’is North and 14 south that did not work.

This shows that geologists feel very strongly the area hold oil and gas. But they missed! Hence the success last August and the nature of it blew people away. I think we are going to be VERY surprised by what happens to the SP if either B well hits oil. It is going to be mental. The stratigraphic traps must be quite localised in land terms but we are still talking a lot of oil and oil that is cheap as chips to extract and bring to market compared to North Sea

good post JD. Humber website offers no insight. Google throws up a post by the law firm that did the deal for Humber but we have not had confirmation of its actual conclusion....

Whatever you think about timelines, WN A testing and WN B spud are getting closer and closer, one day at a time....

Look at the 1 year chart and ponder the likely outcome

Then ponder the consequences of a positive EWT and/or a positive B drill with two flavours to choose from!

I suspect it’s the most exciting thing that will happen to me this summer!
