Basically an RNS to make Deltic's initial response RNS look a bit silly as they use WN as an example of what could be out at Pensacola. Note Pensacola has a very similar gas target in Bcf.

It is also an RNS that say 'Hey, your going to be doing f all for at least a year but we are on the cusp of something potentially massive. Do you want to sit about with 100% of f all or have a lover % of something actual??' I think so me of DELT's major shareholders prefer the latter..... AND, it links RBD with Shell of course.

Finally it say: we can use the cash earmarked for Selene to do more interesting dynamic stuff NOW. I get the feeling Shell might have a view on all this.

Is is a dirt cheap offer for DELT formerly Cluff? Yes it is. If one of their 200-300 Bcf asset comes off then it's a steal.

Why now? Cos it's cheap AND clearly because some shareholders at DELT want it so.

So why is the SP down? Because many people don't understand it and it sounds complicated and they don't like complicated. Is it an opportunity? You betcha. MM's loving it.

So...... will it happen? I wouldn't bet against it because it feels...feels mind, like a bit of a done deal. If it doesn't happen then no problem either.

Going to be a few 8.3's as people have to disclose positions.... watch them roll in.

Finally, SP down but many shares traded? No. 6,700 million shares in issue. Way less than 1% traded. MM's making money is all. And that's what they are here for. Lucky buyers getting another cheap entry and traders making a few hundred quid for a 2-3 million switch. Plus ca change....

All of this just goes to show firstly, as Scanda has posted below, that S&S are banker city types who run an oil investment company. They are deal makers who buy others operations. Worrying about what Deltic think about WN is just mad. The DELT board don't know. And they must be mighty ****ed off.

It is interesting that although DELT have cash, their SP has been flat post C19 trough. Why? Almost as if someone knew this was coming.

Overall, all you can say is this has been planned by others behind the scenes. How it will end I do not know but there is a very very strong feeling of other hands at work behind the scenes. i do not know about DELT but clearly shareholders there think the offer is pants for them. So it's strong for RBD.

I actually feel bad on their behalf...but, that is all immaterial. It looks like either someone wants this to happen, or it's part of a bigger chess game to enable another outcome. I'm easy. Current projects funded and running. Sit back and se what happens.

Morning Rubey! I was out all day yesterday in the blowy wind. Something strange is certainly going on with the disconnect between RBD and UJO MCaps in relation to the percentages of the WN project they hold.

All the speculation about overhangs, Humber shares, forward selling... even page 88 of the annual report and other Percy wind-ups are all immaterial to my mind, if you take the longer view. When, and I should say IF too because this is a risky business, good news comes form either of the B drills and/or the A2 EWT (plus Parta of course) then those results will be reflected in the the RBD vs UJO valuations. This SP will adjust to reflect that.

The only annoying thing about the current situation is that by mid July I was expecting us to be at .75-.8p

I could have bought another share, made money and then still piled it in here at .6p

I nearly bought WRES at .15....now .25. So I could have had more RBD. This is always annoying.

But of the 10 or so shares I follow closely, RBD ( and one other) is now the obvious buy. I'm sure a whole load of other people can see this too. Barring immediate news, pressure will continue to build through July for the expected August newsflow and of course the excitement of the coming drills. They say don' wish you life away but considering life at the minute I could fast forward to the 3rd week of September ....;-)

Next news could well be the unblocking of IM-1. I believe the problem is very common in that type of geology but they will take samples first before applying the HCL. If it is what they think, the acid should do the trick and my feeling with ADX is that they know what they are about.

They must need some cash now. Considering their action the SP staying level shows the strength behind RBD and the obvious interest.

One they stop or with news a sudden correction is on the cards. Never mind .7 I think .8 or .9 are more like it.

now compare UJO 1 month graph to RBD 1 month graph........ see anything !!

if you numbers turn out to be even remotely correct and you multiply by even a modest oil price then you get to an alarmingly BIG NUMBER..... in the billions of pounds.

So it is not unreasonable to see RBD selling WN for many hundreds of millions.

Therefore the prospect of today's MCap being increased ten-fold is not a flight of fancy. It does somewhat bend the mind though!!! Hence the corporate investment last autumn.

Or as O2B would say.... follow the money.

Desmond, if you look at the February presentation on the Reabold website (always worth a re-visit!) the A2 test should have been in June. So it is late.

But the presentation was made before Covid. So it is not surprising it is late. However, i would expect it pretty soon.

B1 well shows for August perhaps into late September. From the looks of the well-pad progress, that could well be a timeline that is hit. B2 drill follows straight on. They will do the second drill while they have the rig onsite. Naturally.

Anyway you look at it, there are Monster-monster positive, we hope, sitting just a few weeks out. i know it's hard, but people need to chill out and let it happen. As the song says:

'Don't push it, don't force it, let it happen naturally...... 'cos....' How does it go ???? You can sing it. Go on!

GP, I'm not sure the phrase 'throw money' really applies. I'm certainly surprised to hear it from someone invested. The £24 million raised last October was gleaned from II's as far as I understand it and I do not think those II's would have taken part if they did not feel the targets S&S had for their money were not worthy!

Now the money is invested into Rathlin and ADX, S&S are not in control from an operational standpoint.

So all posts intimating they should 'hurry up' and 'get on with it' are not appropriate and mis-represent the situation as it actually is.

Clearly, those with a negative agenda who would like a lower buy-in will happily mis-represent the actual situation. However, both ADX and Rathlin appear to operate in a steady, professional manner so results will come in time. They have both shown they can achieve positive results already.

Let's hope for some great results and some 'boomage' on the SP. That is why I am here and all other like minded investors too I would image.

£25 million invested in WN and Parta (I'll leave the others). Salaries and bonus/pensions amount to approx 2% of that. Not terrible

The SP recoverd well from silly Covid lows. Brent was just over $43 earlier today. The WN-A wells were MUCH MUCH better than expected. Now let's see what is under the B site. not long to wait.... tick, tock

Also, both drills are funded for THIS year. That is the program that has always been presented.
