My shares are pretty much all in my ISA so I'm looking for the SP spike on discovery in the main. I am a relative newbie so am unaware of previous statements about dividends as a reward to shareholders. When did S&S make these intentions known?

not at all. I have just under 15 million and would love to have some more but i have been somewhat unlucky with timing on a coupe of occasions recently and missed out on a few easy gains elsewhere.

Still, it is what it is and this year and the next are going to provide some very very interesting opportunities so with a modicum of luck I'll be in a good place.

I am now primarily targeting shares with a good institutional holding and do marvel at the SP still being below the fundraise level of .9p. Those institutions involved in the £24million raise at that price MUST have been happy with the data they were shown from the WN-A well drills. They would not have invested otherwise. Our resident clown suggests they did it for a 'punt'. I cannot believe many on here fall for that kind of nonsense, but I suppose it's worth a try if you are a troll. You don't just 'punt' that kind of money away! I think he is the 'punt'....

But no worries. We will have Broker man and ShareTalk and video on Twitter any day now with the main rig arriving and the 'buzz' will commence. Selling today for a trade a risky business.... lol

Very impressed by the stonking resources SOLG hold and the stage seems set for corporate fun and games. Not my area of expertise, but being that BHP's MCap is not far off 200 times that of SOLG I think it could get interesting. All that lovely Copper/Gold/Silver just wetted my appetite.....

Pleased to see you have some nice trolls too. This is, in my book, usually a good sign.

The UK can benefit massively from domestic sources of gas for decade to come and cheap to access onshore oil or condensate which can be tagged as 'Low carbon' via the (16th June RNS) Carbon Intensity Study will tick the ESG box of a major like Shell etc

Hi all, I still read this thread and follow the SP although I am out at the minute. I pay particular attention to your post trout as you know SML inside out. Clearly the BOD and others are heavily invested in SML and the UK asset is a very serious one.

I would suspect the BOD have confidence they can get a newly 'designed' leach pad to work much better having removed 'fines' but until they actually pile the material up and rund the acid through THEY WILL NOT KNOW and neither will and investor coming on board. For that reason the investor would want some pretty good terms.

JP is surely trying his 'best' to get something together but the long wait shows it is not easy. He has said he does not want to dilute but I personally think he will have to a bit. I expects a mixed 'cash for shares and percentage of offtake deal' and thus a serious price will be paid for restarting LCCM.

But i think they will make it work. I am unclear how they propose to remove the 'fines'. I'm elsewhere at the moment but i will keep watching. I doff my hat to all LTH's and know what a pain in the ass it must be. They'll get there in the end....

I was just saying that the final week of August is always an interesting week as the 'Market' wakes up. In RBD's case this is timed with the major event all have be anticipating.

So whilst we may have no specific news these next few days I suspect quite a few eyes are turned here and wondering how long they have to make a move and get shares at a price well below the investment 'placing' level and massively below the price they will be when the 'Hydrocarbons encountered at WN-B1 well' news leaks out.

The time to buy them cheaply will be running out...

Effectively the last week of summer. Always an interesting week for stocks anyway. New deals going on and money coming back into the markets.

The main rig not in position yet but it will be soon. If you were looking to get into RBD before a significant jump then the next few days are critical ones for you. So I expect some action will occur, unrelated to RNS arrivals.
