Kiliwani Gas Receivables
"Aminex is in discussion with the Tanzanian government authorities to secure payment of the outstanding receivables owed for gas sales from the Kiliwani North gas field that amount to approximately US$6.7 million (gross) excluding interest. This is finally being progressed after the return of senior government officials who have recognised their obligations and are making efforts to resolve the matter. A meeting has been scheduled and we hope to be in a position to update shareholders soon. "

"APT and Aminex have agreed, subject to the requirements of the Ruvuma PSA and Joint Operating Agreement ("JOA"), that upon completion of the Farm-Out and the transfer of operatorship to APT, to request approval from the Joint Venture and the Tanzanian authorities to move the contingent elements of the previously approved 2020 Work Programme and Budget into the firm budget for the year. The intention would be for the seismic acquisition to form part of the immediate work programme and no longer be contingent upon the award of a Ntorya Development Licence. Under the terms of the JOA, approval from two parties holding at least a 65% participating interest in the licence will be required to move those elements into the firm budget. After completion of the Farm-Out, APT will hold 50% and Aminex will hold 25%. Assuming that approvals under the JOA and PSA are granted, the firm budget will then include the drilling of the Chikumbi-1 well and the acquisition of an extensive 3D and 2D seismic survey. The total value of the contingent elements proposed to be reclassified to firm is currently budgeted at approximately US$40million (gross), for which Aminex would be fully carried. The proposed 3D seismic survey, expected to cover approximately 500 km², would be the first onshore 3D seismic programme undertaken in Tanzania."

yes i'm sure there has been a lot of negations with ARA and the Tanzanian authorities re; development and gas off-take etc, but regards to when seismic will take place seems to depend on when the development license is issued, from the Ruvuma Joint Statement with Solo Oil RNS,

"The contingent budget for 2020, which would be subject to confirmation by the joint venture partners in accordance with the Ruvuma joint operating agreement prior to being committed, is US$41.425 million (gross) and relates primarily to the drilling of Chikumbi-1 and the acquisition of extensive 3D and 2D seismic surveys. These budget elements are contingent, inter alia, on the Mtwara licence extension for the drilling of the Chikumbi-1 well and the granting of the Ntorya development licence for the seismic programmes."

yes interesting cperkin, and now with the fall in the price of LNG the LNG development is looking even further away, 10 years maybe ? begs the question then, who could supply any gas export to Uganda/Kenyan : )

yes, and then the full-field can or will develop instep with Tanzania's gas demand growth, you don't want to spend and drill to early and have gas stuck behind pipe waiting for demand to catch up.

yes I agree with most of what you're saying, though I have been wondering IF, as you say the results for CH1 achieves (good flow-rates and further proves up reserves) and then, NT1 and NT2 are re-completed, then I think we could reasonably be looking at a combined flow-rate of 80 mmcfd of which I would say, would commercially justify moving ahead quickly with the pipeline to Madimba to enable early production of say 1-2 years ?

yes fjones, but whether its draft or the final psa document, my understanding is, the new licence's have already been negotiated or re-negotiated with stakeholders i.e. AEX, WLR etc. so as i'm understanding it, now that the psa's have been sent to president Magufuli, would indicate that they have progressed now to the final stage of signatory.

just a reminder, and I don't expect they've changed their view since.

yes, but what you should be thinking about now, is where Aminex could be in lets say, about a month ?

as each day passes that psa news is getting closer and we all know a lot of days have passed.

we don't need any broker notes, we here collectively, probably know more re; on anything Aminex than most brokers. yes channel 10, it is about time we had some news leak out from somewhere : )

why hang on RoJo, if there's no hope left , sell up and go, set your self free and pursue pastures green. I would venture to say, that blind faith in miracles coming out of Tanzania is not a sound premise to have your good money invested in.
