What’s made in China…. Got to do with boohoo?

The only cheap stuff coming out these days is some of the comments on this board. In particular from daytrade / SHSam and the likes.

Clearly shows the highlight of their lives is living off this board.

In other news…. The sun is shining out here nicely in Dubai.

Why are you then deciphering using ppls view point? Surely you would research the companies background / vision? Read through their accounts? Read the RNS updates? Listen / watch their recorded updates? Understand the retail sector market news? After all this and make an evaluation? Surely you’re doing all this? If not then your on this bored to cause trouble.

If you think Topshop is a write off…. Then that’s your evaluation. Topshop is a very strong brand and many would love to own it. I believe the drop today is just a reaction to the US correction. Many stocks are in the RED today. Asos would have had an internal and external team advising on the Arcadia acquisition. There’s no way…. They would have paid £200+m without rigorous value check. If the EU find the name very “generic” then it will give Asos the opportunity to contest that.

You’re entitled to your opinion Reardon 🙂. I just think the timing is out of sync with respect to current company performance and struggles.

Without raising funds… boohoo will not be able to but TB. The last thing we need is another brand that requires integration at this moment in time. We need to rejuvenate the top and bottom line with what we have to self fund another brand. Brands come all the time… TB isn’t the one for us imo based on where the energy needs to be spent and cost obviously.

It’s taking Debenhams 2 years to get it to the baseline and we still don’t know the true numbers.

It would be irrational if we get a rns showing our interest. If the sp was at £3 and we had £250m sitting in the bank then that’s a different story.

But you won’t find the media publishing that. I think once I get what I want from my uk shares…. I don’t think il invest in U.K. plcs ever again. No

Support from government…. Disgraceful slandering by U.K. media who in the end actually either shops at the likes of boohoo / asos themselves or know someone who does. No support of any kind to back these companies whatsoever by any authority. U.K. is pretty much self destroying in every way possible. It’s a country that will rot over time.

Looking for a £4 finish? Day is young.

Not often we see a rise after the updates. Asos is on the MEND and this is why they are not selling up. Decent update from the management…. Let’s hope for a great one in the winter.

If ASOS reports that they mid guidance then we are truly key holed!

ASOS need to pull this out of the bag otherwise it has to be up for sale. Can’t be dilly dallying around every year waiting for that pop up moment. They have the funds…. The experience at board level and big player investments. What more do they need? I’m glad I brought at the levels I did…. If I was in the 20 / 30 / 40 quid range average then I would be pretty miserable if they screw up tomorrow.

I have shares both at £4.54 & £ 3.81.

I genuinely thought at the time of starting my position here is that I will be on or around my average most of the time. Clearly not the case for me.

£20k is a lot of money when you think you can make a quick return ….. will I see myself passing my averages by end of the week?

HF are aware of insiders rules on buying so I’m assuming they are milking the shorting while they can knowing insiders can’t buy at these low levels now. Not sure what level MA is at but there maybe room for him?

That would make him a complete novice if he wanted to try his luck knowing full well the sp is about to tank a fair bit.

I believe he knows this is one of those last moments when the sp will get this low so took advantage while he could.
