Consideration should include:-

2. Value to the board.

3. Accumulation timeframe.

In my opinion if any of the above becomes obsessive or ill fated then then the accumulation count and the individual should be reported or filtered to one’s taste.

Lack of movement could be a good thing? In the view that the MMs can’t make a market from no real sellers? Holders are staying put and shorters are scrambling for a seller. Interesting read how boohoo got pulled into the mail again over something that’s really connected to “ I Saw It First”. The media could have kept boohoo out of it but instead made boohoo the headline with the actual company in question. Shows real desperation now for shorters wanting that exit.

The Ambanis would not do business with ASOS if they will not profit from the deal.

The young generation of Indians like to spend as they have better jobs which provide a surplus at the end of the month.

This deal would have taken extended talks / planning / placement proposition.

I think this will work out quite well. Asos has now gone and accessed customers today they didn’t have yesterday.

I personally don’t think MAs strategy is to buyout boo. I also don’t believe he can turn this ship around in the way the Kamanis would.

If he had any desire to be a master at fast fashion then he would have kept the one he sold and made it bigger and better.

MA knows his skill set and it’s not in developing the fast fashion model. To me he is just a savvy retailer who knows a bargain and knows how to sell that bargain for a tidy profit.

Idandy…. What I do know is the job markets in India have been on fire for years. This has caused great competition which means more money in the back pocket for the working folk.

People in the IT profession are not working for £5k a year…. On average support workers are taking in £15-£30k a year. My figures are in sterling so that’s a lot of money when converting to the local currency / cost of living.

If ASOS grows in this space then we will be handsomely looked after on the SP.

Ambanis have struck a deal which is fab news to Asos. Indians love to look great and fashionable for any occasion.

Boohoo webcast was impressive to listen to. Mahmud passionate about his business and has confidence in the shape / size and direction of the company.

John is the right man for the job and imo has been resilient and has carefully steered the ship.

Stephen was impressive the way he spoke and is already aligning on how the company should be performance managed. Not only to integrate into future better but also to manage market expectations on what the key drivers should be when looking at finding the financial value.

Right people / right product are handling this beast.

It’s a short matter of time before we see a re-rate imo.

Weather has been a great challenge in retail for sometime now. I’m sure they have now learnt some lessons on how to tackle this than just playing blind and ordering based on previous/historical tactical play.

Certainly a leaner and slimmer stock pile with a quick order turn around ability will help. Of course we are approaching vacation period soon so holiday makers will be buying their outfits.

To me this in no shape or form gives the impression Frasers have any interest in buying out Boohoo. It’s blatant with the words used.

On the sky news link…. So Liberum now think boohoo are a solid company and worth investing in? Wasn’t Liberum down beating boohoo on 8th May? Clearly they are saying all the right things so Frasers can pick cheap boohoo shares.

Brokers are only loyal to their feeder.

All of this gives me great confidence that boohoo will be smashing it now and into the years to come.
