I am not happy as I, like many,have lost massive sums, but it doesn't stop me from feeling the President is trying his best to protect his nation from a sever risk of a serious future attack, and as I say a brave thing to do, as he is more at risk from even nutter people than you assume he is, in extremist actions.

But of course most of those aren't Western people, so are never to blame for their killings, child molesting, treating women as nothing better than objects. Which is most telling.

I know POTUS is not handling the situation with style, but doing what he thinks is right, is his style, and all those Presidents who have done nothing just taken the money and sat back or kicked the issue down the road to the next sucker are not great leaders either.

So 10 out of 10 in trying but agree diplomacy is lacking, but his mouth says what he is thinking, so what you hear, is real, not a polished lie. Whether those words are crazy or wise history will tell, but the woke medial channels will only look for fault so time will be the only true judge I think.

Being nice is an easy option, but not always the best one for the long term happiness and safety of those who elected you in.

Because should interests rise then mortgages are more expensive than if rates fall. In an economy where labour clumsily increased the min wage, and made employment so costly for employers that many businesses were and are on the brink, a rise in rates may well cause many to fail, making more out of work, which for Lloyds could mean defaults on business loans, mortgages, personal loans, credit cards and of course less people being able to save for house deposits, as prices will go up for materials making house building more costly, so no hope of getting cheaper homes, forcing more to rent, thus cutting new mortgages for Lloyds which is their bread and butter.

The huge numbers of new faces filling our country, means that homes are in short supply, thus prices can't fall too much, but this makes buying impossible for more would be buyers, and as rents rise the hope of saving a deposit falls.

A thick Gov can cut the amount that banks need as a deposit but we have been through the 100% plus mortgages and people who shouldn't be buying scoring a home, at the last financial crash bringing Lloyds to its knees.

So whilst in normal times a higher rate can mean better margins for banks, in grime times the above and plenty more can be more negative than positive.

Expect the Gov to force rent caps, thus limiting rents on Citra living homes when the country plunges into yet another crisis.

POTUS is trying to put America first, not those who side with undesirables to gain votes, so expect no pity or assistance anymore.

Most are happy to scoff at the rising debt of the US and eager await the demise of the dollar out of I guess some sort of jealously of the standard of living decent Americans can work to enjoy.

President Trump rightly seen the debut could not go on growing, nor the risk of unemployment, nor illegal immigration, nor funding the free world to the extent it did, and has understandably tried to address such issue.

Of course the losers don't like tariffs making imported cheap goods more expensive, but it will help make manufacturing more feasible cutting unemployment, of course freeloader hate it, and the free world protected at great cost aren't happy either.

But a leader is voted in to put their electorate first and that is what he is trying to do. Sure it will get worse before it gets better as it did for this country when the UK declared war on the Germans, but it is about the long game.

President Trump is brave, as he is risking his life far more, and at his age has more than enough wealth to live a better life than any of you all combined, yet choses to do what he thinks is good for his people and country.

Likely a very manipulated market and IF AG is to be trusted, then the paper gold and silver contracts can't be fulfilled if delivery is the option, so maybe a way for major banks to use the war somehow to falsely crash the price to prevent 'delivery' which they can't meet, OR to pay off in cash, which is now less as PM's fall? I don't know, but whatever, it is not the norm.

Likely PM's will spike upwards suddenly as prices seem to be manipulated to fool the masses whilst the important players load up, sell off, or whatever suits what they, not us all expect or want to occur.

I fully agree that it is people who should be removed as we see here in the UK since our population swelling, The Police ban most guns, yet certain sectors have no problem arming themselves, they have gun amnesties to appease the gullible and a hand full of old airguns and the odd war weapon is proudly displayed in a publicity exercise that the Police are doing something meaningful, but a cheap option.

Then with knife crime shops have age limits on who can buy, yet their home will have a drawer full of knives, and as we see most days inner cites with the attackers description never given at the time, shows they have little problem in gaining a knife or often a machete, again an amnesty with a stern faced officer holding up a carving knife that an old person handed in for a pat on the head is displayed as Police tackling crime.

Curing crime is impossible but removing those who have done so is easier but more costly, hence jails need to be basic as.

Did you ever get into PM's? Only a lowly amount myself, and the SMIF share, whilst paying a decent div, I assume the fees are taken from such by the company for managing or am I misunderstanding the situation? Have a lot of 10's of k's in isa from not reinvesting divs, so waiting for something that pays a reasonably amount in divs as get no interest in cash on Halifax account, and with inflation eating away at the worth, need to do something. Most shares yields pitiful and gold too dear now imo.
