lol mate @ time of month and all that.... I not been to good last couple of days or so, so my head is all mashed up with the extra drugs I have for those days, but I have read, re read and re read some more and if there is something else I'm missing your going to have to spell it out for me. I know its basically free oil from what your saying and things are getting more and more into place, and that can only mean more Wonga for all those that did keep the faith. Obvious I have my own target, and you all know what for as well. But as much as I would like it to be, I also know that if I ignore my target price there is a great chance that my investment will continue to rise to amounts of cash I could only ever dream of. But its that age old question, should I stay or should I go. The only thing that scares the pants off me would be to see the share price dip and knowing the amounts of cash wiped off my investment. But thats for the future, and I'll worry about that when the time comes. But I also recall saying if and when I hit my target that would be it for me and share dealing. I don't want to be known for changing my mind every week / month. I'm just after a good re entry price with this RTO in place and everything out in the open and transparent, and with the extra $10 million from Soko in the bank so MTA can go and bag some more deals. Our man Barski did say he wanted to turn Matra into a mid price oil company and it wouldnt surprise me if another deal quickly follows this Panhandle deal. Very exciting times ahead indeed, and so chuffed to be locked in. Ok peeps, thats me for bed, although i'm already in bed, but you get what I meant.....
seen this at the bottom of the rns? Surely this is millions and what they say...... Mbbl Thousand barrels of oil MMcf Million cubic feet MBOE Thousand barrels of oil equivalent
Guess the date of the re-opening? I guess 6th April ( something to do with a new tax year ). Other than that pass. I'd like news of further deals while all this as being carrying on. I mean does it take all the staff to oversee this project, I think not, so another smaller buyout with the extra 10 mill from SOKO could work. I really must try and get sleep now....
Sack that off, I want another RTO before that 10 weeks is up, or at least some more fingers in more pies to confess to. Lets go the whole hog, we might as well now. UEN did someone say? Yeah that'll do for 11's and then on to Lunch. Serve it up boys, we a waiting......
I'm with you, excited to mid and long term. I just don't honestly know where this is going mid to long term. When is it time to bail etc etc. good times ahead for sure.
I'm selling up once I can. Andy as defo got his brain into gear and worked out what we couldnt. So on that basis I'm out of this share. They can stick my paper loss up there backside. Tut, of all the companies I could of chose to invest my Compo into, and what do I do, I invest in a company that are no good for anything, and I'm not going to sit around once it re opens and watch the rest of my cash go down the can, that is a fact. Many Thanks Andy, your my hero.
When do I think it ill re open you ask. With no more news until the final phase is complete which is mid April, this should be the time it will re open. But I'd love to see another RTO during this suspension which will keep us closed for even more time. Who knows if there seeking other deals while sorting this current deal out. One thing is for sure, while its suspended I cant spunk it all away.......
Where not to lazy and go back a couple of pages you might find your answer to what you think the share price will open at. I mean come on, you have to be able to at least try and do a bit of reading. But for its worth, a couple of prices mentioned in the last 2 weeks or so was my opening guess at £4.74, and FTP was around the £6.65 mark. But before you start frothing at the mouth, please note that the average price on opening is roughly 2p ( I could round up all the numbers and divide it by the number of people that have stated a price to come out with the correct figure, but I'm on the Mental Health register and could at anytime ( flip) and get ones self banned). I hope that that clears it up some what.
There packing up on me recently I swear... I seem to have missed the buy trade for £74.0 for something completely different, so I'll just quit now. Also seems I missed timed my posts as well, so in fact you corrected everything while I was replying to your first post/ But all good now.
There may be a little bickering, but trust me we all love each other really !!! Its just a bit of boredom relief techniques that we share from time to time, no real harm in it...... Although you last words from your 1st post ( so welcome to the board ) do not seem to say exactly what it means. Is it £74.00 or £7.40 or 74p or even 7.40p. Just so you know, I'd be happy with any 7 at the start of it..... We can all dream
Hey fella, Hope your fine and dandy over there in your jumpers while waiting for the winter chill to go....... I know cos I lived in Spain for a while, and recall buying some jumpers on the local market cos it had a nip in the air first thing or last thing at night. But hell its worth it just to chill and relax during the hotter months later in the yr. Thanks for your feedback, and yes I can see where your coming from as well. But like you, i'm not that much of a hurry these days when it comes to MTA. I just wish I could go forward 10 yrs and then sell my holdings for a huge profit and would have more money than I knew what to do with it all. Could I wait 10 yrs though..... If things fell into place over that span it could happen, although it would mean the loss of my 89 yr old gran, and my 72 yr old father. Just to be clear I wouldnt want them to go, but in reality it will happen sooner rather than later i'm afraid to say. But I wonder how far Matra would of gone in that time. Could we be chatting about a share price fighting hard to break that £1 barrier, or would we be saying, the daft muppet sold the company for how much, god we've been had here!!!! Such fun. Anyways, take it easy old timer, and it wont be long before I'm called a old timer as well, so no offence intended there.
Where does it say that they had to be suspended? From the RNS in Oct 13, it states.... The Phase 3 Investment, when aggregated with the Phase 1 Investment and the Phase 2 Investment would likely constitute a reverse takeover by the Company of PG-M JV under the AIM Rules (even if the PG-M JV Option is not exercised). The RTO would therefore only come into effect if Matra moved on to the final phase. So like I said, MB wanted the suspension and not cos he " had to ". Only when it reached phase 3 would it have had to be suspended and not before. So MB knew this deal would have major impacts on the share price while completing each phase, and I like to think he had the shareholders (us) in his thoughts as well as other holders of course when he made the decision to suspend. But whatever, if it did or didn't, we are both on the same side here and no doubt both of us are really looking forward to April and seeing where this baby flies to.
Its Monday................ Oh and we are still suspended. Never mind. On a more serious note, why would MB want to suspend the share price ( I believe it was his decision, but could be wrong, it might of been cos of the rules of AIM ), but if it wasnt and so like I said he requested the share price be suspended, why would he do that if the price when it re opens is the same as the close price on the day of the suspension? Its been nagging me for the last 5 minutes when I had one of those moments...... It would make more sense for when we re open the price it is nothing like the suspended price. I mean after all wasn't that what he said in the RNS announcing the suspension, or words to that effect, before anyone quotes me word for word. I mean, otherwise wouldnt he of simply done it phase by phase without the suspension and let the market react as normal in these situations. Maybe i'm totally wrong cos of the brain damage from these dam pills i have to keep popping inside of me. But I'd like to believe hes done it because he knows the price will be no where near it was pre suspension and show the shareholders he does actually care about us who stuck with it during the fall we've seen over the last year and a bit. Well that's what I think anyways.... Night night
I'll take that then. Ok I'm in, put me down for £4.70 please on opening. Off out looking for my Castle, back soon.
With this so called deal in the PanHandle of Texas reported to be worth roughly 140million, why is it then that most people seem to think the share price will not move much once we re open?
Nice to see you've learned your lesson and took a more liberal approach this time. Your predictions and also your fella SOU friends predictions proved to be way off the mark, so nice to see you playing it safe this time....... It would be nice to see us all wrong on MTA like you with your SOU but in the opposite direction.....
About the opening price, but if we have a book for the closing price on the day it's re opened then I'm in, but not for the opening price. My closing price prediction on the first day of trading is 2.88p
Yes I hear what your saying mate and trust me I wasn't enticing anyone, it was all my own speaking out speech. But with UEN goings on and the extra cash from SOKO if of course it's payable, I wouldn't be surprised if MB as actually been busy and thus having many fingers working on many pies while all this phasing is ongoing. Just how good would it be to announce another RTO before this one ends........ Ohhhhh the bigger picture is just waiting to unfold. I just hope it reaches that 6p b4 year end and booking my flight to Dubai for me and the wifey curtesy of your good self sir! One can but wait!
I'm not that bothered if they do or don't regards phase 3. Nor am I that bothered if they reopen @1p and we see the share price hit 3p. I've said it before, my year starts next yr. so if MB states future value for shareholders, then it's all nice and dandy. I've give over caring what, when and how these days. But if by some miracle, and please note miracle being the chosen word, we hit that 10p before yr end I will be selling up everything never to return..... I'll leave to the experts of this world in future, lesson learnt Plaza, lesson learnt...
States below how well the shareholders are going to be rewarded, and I like the bit he says CONSIDERABLE UPFRONT and future value for shareholders. "We are pleased to have completed Phase 2 of our acquisition in the Texas Panhandle region of the USA. In recent months we have started to see the full potential of the Texas asset which offers considerable upfront and future value for shareholders.
