In a post a couple of months ago, I predicted £14 in June. If the peace deal is reached between America and Iran, we could be close to £20 by the end of the year.

You are correct, the dividend money will be paid into my dealing account not into the ISA Account. So it will be subjected to tax. I will always be the poor boy.

If you hold shares in NWG, and you sell them in April after ex-dividend day to put them into ISA will you be tax on the dividend when it is paid in May?

In the seventies i was into motor racing there was a team who were sponsored by an oil company called "Ultramar" . I had a insurance policy maturing, so i decided to purchase shares in the company. A few years later they were taken over by another oil company. This enabled me to pay off my mortgage along with a surplus of money. I started investing again the stock markets again purchasing shares in Rolls Royce at about 79p which i then sold when they rose to £2.23. Not long after they dropped again to around 70p so i went in big style again. My problem now is transferring into ISA's which i have been doing for the last few years. I have recently change stockbrokers, my new brokers now allow me to sell my shares through a Bed Isa which means i can sell my shares in a dealing account and put in an ISA account straight away. I just have to be careful so i don't pay nay CGT when i make the transfer. Sorry about the late reply i have been watching "The Invaders a TV series from the sixties which i was watched when i was growing up.
