Explain ! Don’t understand if you are referring to my comment. You simply don’t understand . In layman’s terms i am simply not interested in what stocks or how many you hold. The chat is for positive information about the share. It is not chat for bragging that is childish behaviour.

My sentiments exactly, I mention this in a chat about week ago. The response was don't you believed them "are you calling them liars". My reply was i am not intersted in what people have invested in the company or how much they have made, and that they are going to buy a new car or motor home etc. Over the years I have found that the people who are making the real money and have signifcant holdings never reveal anything about their investments. A fact of life. Just stick to positve facts about the company.

My instinct was the share price would be £2 by the end of trading today,there is still chance. But looking back over the last two months how much the share price has risen is consoling, along with the dividend payments that the shares pays. BT is a excellent share to have in your portfolio.

Yes if we can hold onto today’s gains, then hopefully we can then break the £2 barrier tomorrow.

It is what i have learn’t from people, who have dealt in stocks and shares over the years. Believe me they have made a-lot of money. What is the point in divulging how much you have made, i don’t get it.

I didn’t know you were referring to a company scheme. As for BT shares they have been good to me over the years as a private investor with the dividends payments and the buying and selling with the fluctuating share price. I know believe this share is on the way up and my feelings are, it could be around £3 maybe more in the next twelve months.

If you are selling shares in a stock and shares account, and then put the proceeds in a stocks and shares isa . You will have to pay capital gains tax on any gains over £3k

It will probably recover by the end of trading today. I am not bother i purchased the shares when they were 80p, i sold them when they climbed to £2.23 briefley and bought back in again when they fell back to 85p. I was called a fool and idiot buying shares in a company that was in negative equity at the time. As the saying goes "He who laughs last, laughs the longest. My sides still ache from laughing.

BT shares are always worth holding, simply because of the dividends that they pay. Any rise in the share price is a bonus. I finished work over 20 years ago and the dividend payments that i have received have been very rewarding like income from part time job. The secret in buying shares, is find a solid company that pays a good dividend and build up a substantial holding.

Yes but you have pay dealing charges again and if you are over limit for capital gains tax then you have to pay that.

Sold looks like a good call at £7.20. I don't think so. The Tariff's have been suspended because Trump realises he has made a big mistake, they won't come back he will get out of it by saying that the countries that the tariff's have been imposed on have now negotiated a deal which is now acceptable to the USA. Also you have lost out on a dividend payment, they go ex dividend next week. As for ROBDON comments these shares will be in double figures by the end of this year.
