Another point people on here talk about ISA Wrapper but you can only play with 20k from what i have read about it . Also if you withdraw any of the money to your bank account, you cannot reolace it again in the same financial year. Also these ad's on this website are very annoying popping up when you are trying to post or respond.

Like I say not worth the hassle for the small gains. It was worth it in the past when Capital Gains Tax was 12k and dividend allowance was 6k.

It 's not just Trump. You have to look at our own Government and decisions that they are making. We should be extracting our own oil and gas not buying from other european countries.

With the Capital Gains Tax limit at 3K, Plus the trading fees and stamp duty not worth the hassle for the average punter. I always stay put in times like these. Also my objective is long term i no intention of selling, i don't need to. You only sell if you have to.

You will be alright. The golden rule is never do anything haste always think it through. In the past i thought through what would could happen in certain scenario's. Now i don't bother i will just sit it out the companies that i have invested are solid so they will always come through

Never ever sell in haste, always think everything through before you make a move. That's was the advice i was given a long time ago by my tutor in share trading.

My advice early today was good wasn’t it. Sit tight, Don’t Panic.

The limit is 20K once you have invested that amount that's it.

You are only allowed to invest £20k in a ISA. Once you have done that then that's it for the financial year you can't buy anymore even if you sell.

In times like this,you have to sit tight only sell if you have to. There is a lot market manipulation going on at the moment. The share Price will recover, good time to make some money if you have cash. I just wish it was April then i could start a new ISA.

Don't Panic. Sit Tight, If you sell, more than likely you will have to pay GGT.

A J BELL answer the phone straight away, if the person you are speaking to can't answer your query they will transfer to someone who can. Also my transfer from H/L to AJBell took about two weeks.

I move to AJ Bell because of the dealing charges they introduce at the beginning of March.

Can't understand why people are selling. If you are not on the books by the end of trading today you won't get the dividend.
