Belgrano, you are appear to be conflating SOH as an individual and SOH as Chief Exec of a company with investments on its balance sheet that is being liquidated to provide working capital

There are large headwinds ahead, but that is a positive for JDW, with an incredibly resilient business model. This is a good level to buy at if able to hold on for 3+ years. However there's a lot of that on LSE at the moment!

Bazza, 'hidden' is not terminology that anyone recognises. Most recent accounts show segmental information reported revenue and gross profit by-region. The 'front-end' of this report refers to divisions; Biotix, Dermatonics, Bio-Tech Solutions. I would expect them to report at least revenue and gross profit by-division, and I expect Croda revenues to sit in Biotix

I agree this is an awful update. I've not yet watched the announcement, but it reads that openly - at least they lay their cards on the table unlike the previous exec.

I am reminding myself that Dave Watts joined in November 2023 so this was his 'hall pass' to dump the 5h1t and move on. Underlying these results, management have clearly been very busy, so I will wait for the dust to settle and slowly add.

I remain convinced that turning Vanquis into a 'proper' bank will be attractive to shareholders mid and long term, and I am excited they are leveraging the Snoop expertise to build a robust IT infrastructure and operating platform to grab competitive advance

There is an extremely long note (4) covering building safety which is basically saying there is more to come and don't forget the liability is discounted. Added to the fact that they didn't make an unadjusted profit this year, one needs to take a very cautious view

Forget the dividend....have you seen a going concern accounting policy that long before? Why would they propose a final dividend when there is a material going concern risk?

Telling the market that DVM is in a market leading position (not sure if they are basing that on $17.2m or $14m recurring revenue) is not really a positive unless they inform us of market size and the growth trajectory. Good results but poor wording

Monty, their cladding provision has not changed or been articulated in any detail which is worrying considering there is a lot of bad press around the time it is taking to remediate, it makes one think non-independent surveyor reports are being used. The student market is on a knife-edge and they have alluded to lower margin deals being in the order book. They are in a precarious position, but can be resolved with a comprehensive presentation

Just reviewed the analyst consensus for Capita. Why do they persist with significant adjusting items?

The group is half the size now than pre-covid (adjusted for inflation) and they still talk about contracting in size. No divided until 2028 at the earliest....if they manage to get there

My key takeaway from today is that the next trading update (I assume this will go out with final results) will report invoicing to Croda as SA specifically mentioned revenue in this calendar year. My view is that singular item will attract a lot of investors who are either positioned tentatively or have yet to buy in at all

Final results, whenever the auditors sign off. Can't see it being worth the risk until then

The rubicon has been crossed but there is no detail on which to value the company so I expect this to re-rate in tranches
