RE: USA7 Mar 2021 04:22
Dougie,
My reference to a couple of billion my seem at first excessive, however. If one considers the information contained within the US marketing announcement, its more likely a conservative figure.
They state that figures for ED are used as a basis which would appear to be considered as an accepted industry comparison. As such, if one just looks at the sales of the big 3 for ED (Cialis, Viagra, Levitra) which in 2019 according the March 2019 presentation had sales of (2.9Bill, 5.9Bill, 013Bill) respectively, giving total sales of 9Bill USD, which may be somewhat excessive, but even so 1 to 2 Billion USD could be considered chicken feed for something that could give a possible return of 10 billion or more over a period of say 5 to 7 years. And a lot more for a longer period.
Yes I am writing as if Fortacin has cornered the market, but currently there is no other drug anywhere like ours needing a prescrip for comparison. Maybe after 5 to 7 years there will be, but we dont really care what happens after that do we... ;-)
Of course if they decide to bring the EU sales into the equation, the above is totally flawed, however, It currently seems they appear to be ignoring this given the vastly different market and stigma attitudes.
Everyone can do their own math on the matter, but the above is pretty straightforward based on the information we have been provided.
As usual, only time will tell..............
