It would seem the mcap is less than the MOD deal is worth; in addition every other stock holding, listed or otherwise, owned by MTR is worth less than zero. Also any cash on the books is also valued at zero. An amazing investment proposition indeed!

The deal - if/when it goes through - is worth more than MTR's current mcap: this ought to get the price over 2.5p.

The dilution is minimal:it is only an extra 63.6m shares added to the existing 1.4b shares. Good buying opportunity on the dip! But there really shouldn't be one for long and yes I agree the price should rise but logic often has little to do with AIM shares.

There will never be a full changeover, as all the gas transmission network would need replacing; plus, much of the local gas supply network would not be fit for 100% H2. Valve gear has to have much tighter specs for hydrogen so it would be extremely expensive.

What do you mean by "man made hydrogen"? Hydrogen is sourced from natural gas! It would be decades until the necessary infrastructure for the mythical hydrogen hydrogen economy could come into being, at the cost of trillions of $$$ worldwide. The real future is nuclear fusion: if governments were remotely serious they would be shovelling 2-3% of their GDPs into fusion research/development!

It tells me they have been told what they need to do to get a good deal and they have just announced they are doing the necessary with the help of Dr Mark Linch. That is all there is to it.

A further 3 - 5 years with the right JV partner funding through phase 3 trials; but you can be reasonably sure Dr Mark Linch thinks it would be worthwhile continuing. Why on earth would anyone want to throw away their professional reputation on something that was going nowhere? It goes without saying that a a good partner with the necessary cash will be required for VAL201.

Looks like pretty good RNS news to me; let's hope they can attract a JV partner with the cash to progress it further!
