2 years ago I spoke to Russell at length over the phone and he comes across well but that still doesn't change the facts, yes I'd gladly sit down and have a pint with them but would I invest in any future projects? Very doubtful and that is purely due to missed deadlines and complete failure to move frx and then krs forward in anyway over a 6 year period, I was told in no uncertain terms, 2 years ago on the phone, the licence was weeks away rather than months away and that shareholders will get monthly updates, so that coupled with countless missed deadlines and "delays" have brought me to this point, so yes I've had verbal contact and also via email over the years, plausibility and likeability are no substitute for results in business, I've run my own for 20 + years and would be destitute by now if I performed as poorly.
As far as I'm concerned it's all smoke and mirrors, Russell will not be out of pocket believe that, I'm not going to be a profit of doom constantly and just felt I've played enough to say my peace, I really hope it does work out and won't say anything negative about krs after this message or have the desire to ruffle feathers and have heated exchanges with anyone that doesn't share my opinion but if you line up all the minining licence updates and forecasts over the last 5 or more years, it's quite a stretch to have any belief in anything we've been told about Togo, as I said I wish everyone luck , I'm leaving my money in here regardless, it's too embarrassing to take out now and I'm emotionally invested here too as my 1st ever investment so I can't bring myself to admit defeat but I believe absolutely nothing that this company say any more unfortunately, but once again GLA and this remains one of the best informed and pleasant BB'S on lse and I won't blight it with misery haha be good all
Wow the election bol@ocks again and if something takes that long there is always going to de a natural disaster to blame as well for more delays, the truth I think now is, if it was gonna happen it would of already, I've seen £23k of investment dwindle to a figure not worth a toss and others will be far more heavily invested I'm sure, captain jumps from a sinking ship always a bad sign, I know he's heavily invested but they have all done ok out of krs if you work out wages vs results. Unfortunately imo I don't see this pile of lies making it through covid 19 and even if it does we still won't have the right to dig up any value from the ground, Russell has had plenty of time to find new business opportunity but nothing, look how quickly calidus happened, I think that pay out was to clear there's consciences, anyway may as well have another whip round to get Russell through these hard times before delivering the final blow. Very disappointing but no great surprise .
Hope you all have better luck elsewhere and stay safe everyone, money comes and goes, health is really valuable
Monthly updates was also somethhing Russell told me he would be implementing 2 years ago "very important to keep inverters in the know"
:-D mind you I've not checked our website so may look a fool by posting this but quietly confident I've not missed 24 updates
Deja vu,
If that comes up as an excuse for a delay my head will explode, can't remember how many tears ago the election was blamed for the permit delay hahaha . Let's hope that old chestnut doesn't rear it's ugly head
Firstly ivecnot kept up with this board for last few weeks, hope all distribution has been sorted for all now, just wondering how lth are thinking about the licence is in our hands statement months ago yet we still are NOT in possession months after and dry mining time is disipating . I feel like this can't be bull shi@ but every day that passes it looks like same old same old?
I think calidus are mainly to blame touring, fancy doing a consolidation at the same time, crazy in my opinion, think they knew this would cause a delay and stop a mass sell off as soon as distribution happened
Something is going on in the background for sure, we only ever get volume around news, consolidation is probably on the cards Jim, as you say, so many shares in issue and too low for serious investment, I did hear a long time ago, big inverters won't touch any share below a penny? But that said, you'd have to be privy to some serious inside info or barking mad to invest serious money here at the moment, us pi's have certainly been led a merry dance for years as far as our only project goes and we still don't know Jack. Russell doesn't give me 10% of the confidence DR did .
Got mine late last night too, I think people may wait a bit, with all these sizeable trades going on, it smells like krs has allocated shares to our third party togolese project sugar daddy, feels like they are being worked in to me, and maybe why Russell has gone radio silent, made a deal at around the 0.15 region and hasn't signed the papers to keep the price down and sugar daddy happy with more shares, rns this week saying such is my prediction , probably miles off but who knows ??????
"It's not like previous delays"
It's exactly the same as previous delays! State 1 thing and don't deliver on time, I used to think it was naivety but I just think they keep dangling the carrot so wages can keep being drawn for doing very little, I'm so far down on this share, I don't really care much now so will ride it out for either boom or bust which I reckon is 50/50 at the moment, I personally spoke to Russell 2 years ago almost, and was told , the permit iscweeks away rather than months, another load of knackered. All I'm saying is don't hold your breath for the license, I can't ever see confidence returning to krs , and why should it.
Best of luck all and I hope we do get rewarded
It was expected within 7 days that was in October I think??? Don't expect anything, it's the keras curse, that damn permit. And in my opinion the reason there is so little confidence and new investment in keras, sometimes saying nothing is the best policy and one I wish had been adopted more over the last 5 years haha, will take a long time to rebuild confidence and missing more deadlines isn't really the way forward .
Soon be Xmas, have a good break all
Not sure I've got time for this campaign oil, but after your vote and words of encouragement I'm going for it ready for next elections ;-)
Just out of interest, did all lth stay in keras, or have we lost some after the distribution? I'm so cr ap at trading I've just stuck with what I had before, share volume wise, and I'll see if the news that is always round the corner, materialises don't think I can stomach another runs saying still waiting for license though, that would finish me off
I would imagine as conveyance solicitors do, our brokers are holding our cash in there accounts for as long as possible for a bit of interest, I think everything must of been done and dusted at th3 point that calidus resumed normal trading after the consolidation, I can't believe they were allowed to throw a consolidation in the midst of distribution, I presumed trading halt was as much to get transfer documents in and dealt with, the consolidation alone only needed a day, sure I've seen consolidations done in 24 hours, I could of course be talking out of my ass haha.
Just my 2 penneth worth
Well my broker said not to expect anything unti end of 1st/ 2nd week in December, apparently, they weren't getting paperwork until Nov 29th, then they needed to apply for confirmation from as who may then request physical certification to be sent before anything is released into my account. Hope that helps, I presume it's the same for all?
