Well Monty, Dr was in Togo last week and said if their is any news he can put his hand on his heart with, he would release news. From the lack of it I can only surmise no progress on that front. So as far as I'm concerned, I wouldn't hold your breath for news on mining license before Xmas. Hope I'm wrong and who can second guess Africang governments?

This might be just rumour, but...... I have heard on the grape vine, DR decided to sell up in west Africa and try our hand in Australia because a certain ladyboy (itys) had set up camp in Togo and wouldn't leave him alone! As I say, maybe just rumours? ;-) haha love you itys you big gay bear

Not really sure if mc have a great bearing on sp anyway, they are speculative at best, this has had a fairly consistent mc/sp ratio for the last few years but I think only because we have been thinly traded on the whole, sentiment is going to be the biggest driver imo, I just can't wait until we are self sufficient, I think the name change is a great move to shake off the unsupported frx tag. as daft as it sounds, aim is ridiculously fickle. New name, New projects, cash generative hopefully= fresh support. I think there's only been a dozen or so of the same people trading for quite a while, it's a much needed kick up the arse for aim investors I think. Don't really see much change short term but am happy to build and keep doing so. Far less twitchy bummed than 4 months ago. The definition of keras does it for me too. Gla

It sounds very much that way sunny, was also apologetic over the silence lately, it really does sound like things are on the up. Oil will be out of his bunker before you know it :-)

A bit more, Dr is back in Togo next week to try and find out what the hold up is, also lots of news flow still to come from testing in Australia. Their are good grades of gold and good deposits in the ground. All very positive and fast to generate cash, which seemed to be the emphasis, their will also be clauses put in with regards to the share dealing for this venture, seems as though chaffers are in it for the long haul though so doesn't seem like that will be an issue either

It was mainly to introduce the gold mining in Australia, basically, their are numerous pits that have been partially mined and left so it's a matter of just digging out the ground and sending it to the processing plant, payment is received 28 days after delivery to processing plant, very low running costs and high Australian gold prices. Production to start in Q2 as stated, Dr was pretty adement this would happen as all in frx's strict control. Permit in Togo still on going and live, gold will pay for Togo. Also looking at the possibility of more gold projects in Australia. I've probably missed a bit out but am sure others will add. Hope this helps Jim

Agreed, just trying to digest it all still, not entirely sure what reaction this will get short term but it's got a lot brighter for long termers imo. It's good to know Dr and co have been and remain to be very busy, 93m New shares on top of over 1b existing is a massive amount in issue. Not sure my 1.5p average will see blue within 12 months but at least their is definitely cash to be brought in through production, without doubt just what the Dr ordered :-)

I like the sound of that oil, always hard to know what reaction anything will get, I watch lots of shares intently trying to see if their is any sort of consistency or trading pattern, I've seen planning granted for potentially billions of pounds worth of project only double the sp and also the merest wiff of a jv has shot another one up 500% ish, all I wish for is ferrex to become a producer, that should see all of us on the right side of the profit/loss on paper, also bring ferrex into favour and who knows from their. At least we will have a solid base and no money worries. Things and the mood certainly seem to be swinging towards the ferrets, another steady day ahead by the looks. Blue sky on the horizon :-)

Maybe so CB, it doesn't really feel like it's getting going though to me, not sure if news of a Jv or something like that will hit before permit after Dave's email, but if he's happy then that for the time being is good for me, and the green light for me to add some shares
