Ha ha no they didn't have gold in there name and one of them had a seriously shady business model and if you read into it it was obviously just to pay investors back from a previous company that went titties up. And I understand your points dunk but it was the same 5 years ago when Togo looked more promising and things looked like they were happening, anyway fingers crossed our new leader pumps us up a bit and gives punters something extra to get excited about. GLA one day rodders
Why is it that calidus and keras are so thinly traded? I understand us at the moment as there's more sideways movement than in a crab pot, but it's been like this since the ferrex days , in calidus we have a great resource that keeps getting better month on month, yet average volume is around 1.8m shares per day (pennies) my point being, I've seen obvious bullsh#t companies trading at much higher volumes before dwindling to nothing, so is our company profile so underexposed we should do something about it or is it our bod that investors don't buy into???? Hopefully russel can bang the drum whilst waiting for Togo. It's very confusing!
Yes much appreciated gmcc, did it sound like there had been any signals that the mining licence was to be awarded anytime soon or have we appointed a full time CEO to keep pestering the togolese government and not much more? If the latter is the case I don't really understand the decision as everyone relating to keras was on reduced salary , I don't know but I imagine Russell is on full salary? Just curious, not moaning as I wasn't there today . Thanks again gmcc
Is everyone just waiting for the distribution on calidus shares? Because if the last 12 months of transformational news is anything to go by then that's all we have to look forward to from our relationship, a 74% increase in resource did absolutely nothing . Which is why I would be happy to see new projects inject some life into krs. News of cobalt results in my opinion is absolutely worthless without the manganese licence so I would begrudge the company spending a single penny pinning a corrupt governments pockets any longer until they played ball and issued the manganese mining permit. Keras state "the directors are actively seeking other mineral projects " bring it on i say, i think the worst that could happen already has so only the prospect of exciting new project will bring liquidity back. Just how I see it at the moment and if we have appointed a CEO just to give us cobalt results I will be more hacked off than if a massive fund raising for a new project happens. GLA time will tell
Fair point chirpy, just a bit concerned about what's next for krs , years have just vanished and Togo has hurt us big time as far as market confidence goes, how long do you wait for and how could anyone be convinced that our other current exploration licenses could be flipped to mining permits in a quicker time frame than the manganese saga. Just feels like we've been waiting for an eternity and have not taken many steps forward in the last 5 years as far as West Africa is concerned. Personally I'd welcome a new project in a more stable environment even if it did mean more dilution , krs needs a kick start imo
Ha ha I'm sure you're right andee, just wish I knew what DR had planned as far as his relationship with keras and calidus , I suppose he and the way he operated was a big catalyst to my original investment way back when and do you ever think he will be back in charge of keras? Calidus started as our baby but feels more and more like it will end up a completely separate entity some how?
Continued..... being the main focus, I know DR has lots of skin in keras but where does he draw the line, calidus has had zero impact on us to date so where is the incentive to meet the final target for our final award of shares, if that target is missed do we lose that award? And the stay with calidus, i really hope we dont get shafted and left with togo as our only hope, i question the judgement applying for new exploration permits in such a volatile area and one that has proved to be accommodating in a big way, I hope russel lamming has news of projects in different countries for us. Sorry for the moan, woke up grumpy and the silence is killing me. gla whatever happens
Couldn't agree more andee I think DR has got to demonstrate confidence in calidus as he has over the years in keras, let's hope both get rewarded. I don't think the low volumes or interest in keras has got anything to do with indirect ownership of calidus, there has been little confidence in keras and previously ferrex for a fair few years well before calidus, so whatever the reason for the lack of interest in keras is down to, it's a long existing reason. Not really sure what it's going to take to get keras moving? Good value adding news doesn't work. GLA
