Calidus Resources Ltd (ASX:CAI) is set to capture investor interest at the opening of trade today, after delivering a bonanza grade intercept of: 6 metres at 63.31g/t gold from the Warrawoona project, located in the Pilbara of Western Australia.
The reverse circulation assay included: 2 metres at 182.57g/t gold.
The high-grade intersection was supported by broader hits, including: 12 metres at 3.73g/t gold; 9 metres at 4.56g/t gold; and 33 metres at 1.09g/t gold.
Calidus has intersected ore grade mineralisation in every hole to-date, which has delivered the company the confidence to extend the drilling campaign to a total of 12,600 metres, which is expected to be wrapped up in the current quarter.
Warrawoona currently hosts 410,000 ounces at 2.2g/t gold from surface, and the continued mineralised intersections will add significantly to this resource.
