The fall today is mainly due to the Banco Share going Ex-Div, I reckon.

Time to buy.

Highest price for BNC SP was on the 4th Dec 2009 at 968.40.

I feel sorry for the shareholders who baled out e.g. some sold @ 629, 755 etc etc.

Don't know how high the Banco share will go as it's been very very cheap for years.

The last time the Banco shares were this high was 15 years ago in 2010. Many times I thought about selling them and cut my losses.

I suppose, and pardon the pun, inactivity pays dividends !

Anybody know why this huge increase in SP especially with this going on 'Santander urges ministers to intervene in UK car finance compensation scheme'?

Why the sell off?

Dividend rubbish, SP getting nearer £7. Defo hold.

This share seems like flavour of the month.

The share price of Banco is at it highest in 14 years.

So what has changed.

Dividends are rubbish barely 3% and will get lower if the SP goes higher.

If the dividend is 7.3p why is this ABDRNDEEN share increasing by 20p?

What happens if the share price drops below the Rights Issue value ?

Not that I am an expert but I think that for the last 10 years + Banco shares have been undervalued. The profits for 23/24 are the highest on record, the dividends are very low in comparison to profits. I'm thinking that there maybe a 'special dividend' and / or buy back of shares. But then again with my predictions the opposite usually happens !!

How much are we talking here, several million pounds or much more.

i see the abdrn buy back is working. trash the share price and buy cheap. absolute **** share with the company being run by morons.
