Interesting to see what happens this after the us opens
I have a feeling they will like this share.
LTH here - it`s a sad view to see the Sirius website now with Anglo plastered all over it - but I can accept it - Your investment can go down as well as up.
I`m no expert on investment at all and I may be being a little naive but it seems to me it would be a great act of compassion if the SXX executives gave up ALL their gains from their shares either from SXX or future gains from AAL and divided them among amongst genuinely disabled investors who have become sucked into this mess.
I`m not disabled by the way.
In light of the epidemic the alternative is to donate it ALL to the local hospitals for PPE .
Failure in management in this company should not be rewarded.

LTH here - I`ve lost a fair bit but that`s the risk I guess on what the SXX PR machine sold as a good honest UK project.

A lot of different opinions on here;
FWIW

Novice LTH here
I will loose out here if this goes to administration - a very hard lesson
If its a yes I will still loose out as my average is 25p
The Sirius executives should not be rewarded for failure - any benefit either from SXX shares or AAL future gains should be donated to recommence any local disabled people who have invested heavily in this - I am not disabled I might add.
A question from a very novice investor
Can there be any attempted reparation that can be taken from shareholders if a company goes into administration by anybody at all?

Hi
you are correct ffc - The share centre has already filed their one vote.
Thanks for letting me know this.
I phoned and they told me the 28th last week - I may check again if its noon or something.
Thanks for the heads up.
Been holding now for a couple of years - avg 25p
If it were agreed that the present bosses were NOT to gain their windfall from SXX or any future AAL shares or benefits and donated their gains to a charity or investors who are deserved cases (disabled and such who have put their faith and savings into the project) I might be more tempted to vote yes for the sake of the project and local economy and take my considerable loss loss.
I hasten to add I`m not disabled.
We the investors have funded this venture led merrily by the pied piper and his PR machine.
I`m on the verge of voting no with the share centre.

D day coming - I`ve not voted through the share centre as yet on my long term investment. I have to say that I`m not an investor type - I was attracted to this by ;
1 Investing in a project that helps the uk - jobs economy etc (Though I don`t live local)
2 organically qualified and long term of the resource
3 to invest a little money in what I hoped and looked from the positive PR a risky but viable down to earth project.
Yes or No - part of me would like to vote yes but I can`t help thinking that the project would not be where it is without pi investment - my money. Voting No means the local economy might not get their mine and knock on wealth and that irks me.

First time poster here and total novice investor;
Is this a reasonable question in layman speak - When the last 500 million bond offer failed would it have been possible for sxx instruct a specialist company to investigate a pooling together bonds offer paying say 10% to all the shareholders or any who are interested ?
£500,000,000 ÷ 85,000 shareholders = £5882 each (not that much)
Obviously not all would have the £ 5882 spare but maybe 50% might have and a little more .
If that was the case and succeeded would the JP Morgan funds for mine completion have been released?
If that is the case why didnt the sxx do it?
Any answers appreciated.
