Price now looking like it’s ready to break through 80p. But more interesting is what happens around 85p…

On the 1 year chart below we can clearly see around 85p was the highest peak after free fall from triple figures. Which makes me think there isn’t much resistance established between 85 and 1xx

I’m receiving my dividend on Monday and have to admit like most sheep I will simply plough it back into ITV - could that be a catalyst - especially while England advance in the World Cup and sentiment remains positive eg around ITV Studios valuation.

Yes good trading update - and always amuses me to compare the revenue to market cap. Are thee many companies where these are so similar?!

Just noticed a very flat line on ITV.L between about 11:00am this morning and now.

Price seems glued to 68p for some reason.

This is really unusual almost looks like it's in suspension (but it's not).

Probably over by the time you read this, but certainly caught my eye this morning!

I often check the US ADR (American depositary receipt) listings after UK market close - and I've always wondered what the correlation is. Perhaps someone smart here could explain. I expect exchange rates play a part.

Mainly asking as ITV.L is up just under 10% at close today, however currently the ITV ADR is up 15%.

If you keep posting logical sensible qualitative posts like this explaining what the ITV share price should really be I'm going to be forced to buy more!

Rather than simply selling ITV Studios to a third party - wouldn't it make more sense to float it off as a separate company? Create ITVS.L, retain 51% of the shares as a controlling interest to benefit from future asset appreciation, then pocket the 49% cash from sale of the rest into the main businesses bottom line - supporting eg ITVX content and growth...
