I still believe we were working a probationary period at own risk , it appears it was a risk worth taking as its paid off …..I also said the following

Perhaps ....as ever I’m happy to be proven wrong , however if you place yourself in MPS’s shoes would you have placed a 5 -10 year MSC with a company unproven in port security , prior to seeing them perform in a fully functioning facility...?

On the subject of pre contract works .... fook knows if we’re getting paid ..... has anyone emailed Fowler ?

If we were being paid from day one ,(subject to contract completion) Fowler would without doubt have emblazoned it across all RNS to include his proactive interview ......... in respect of the delay , MPS / GPHA clearly have a contract dispute at large which could possibly be delaying MPS from agreeing / placing any long term contracts....... however I’ve come round to the thinking that we are working an unpaid probationary period entirely at our own risk ........ |o:

They are partners , but under the existing terms GPHA don’t start turning a pound for years .....

One month prior (24th May) to the new terminal opening , MPS advised GPHA of their intention to implement a revised shopping list of tariffs ( as they are legally entitled ) which they intended to have in place for the port opening on 28th June.

GPHA kicked back as the tariffs would have a detrimental affect on their short term revenues, until such time as the port traffic increases - GPHA complained to the Ministry of transport who have instructed ( 28th June ) MPS & GPHA to continue using the old tariffs until such time as they have reached agreement .

Prior to the Ministry of transports instruction , MPS commented as follows ....

“ delaying the implementation of the new tariffs would have a catastrophic impact on the company’s cashflow and its contractual commitments to third parties”.

My limited research suggests no agreement has been reached thus far ...... so one might be forgiven for thinking MPS ain’t going to be placing any contracts until such time as they have agreement on their own numbers moving forward.....|o: AIMHO

Aiming - Re your 16.10 yesterday ....surely Fowler will have to put some financial meat on the bones of any contract announcement... any idea that the markets will swallow a Fowler MSC financial forecast is a non starter imo ....his past projections have been complete pants ........
