Many Congrats Jaffoon. I'm hoping SNG goes ballistic too so that I can pay for my ray of sunshine..
I'm building a house at the moment and I was just telling the misses that we should call the house 'Ellinore House'. Which is Greek for 'ray of sunshine'.
.Also in January 2021, Abingdon Health agreed a contract for technical transfer of a UK customer's COVID-19 antigen test into manufacturing and that project commenced in February 2021. The Company welcomed the news from Avacta plc in February 2021 regarding the very encouraging performance data on their COVID-19 antigen test. As a manufacturing partner for Avacta, the Company looks forward to moving their product through technical transfer in due course
Maybe we'll get an announcement similar to ODX a few weeks back confirming we have a government contract but without the specifics on monetary amounts. Then once Gov are ready to make the announcement to the public on the sovereign manufacturing capability ABDX will be confirmed as the lead manufacturer... OR it's almost 30 days since the ODX announcement and tomorrow ABDX will share more details of a government contract which includes other partners.. pure speculation on my part... GLA... exciting few weeks ahead...
Twatcher give up.. stop polluting the board with your negative rubbish...

"Tech transfer is upon us for Mologic."
It's likely TT has been completed and we have been manufacturing for some time. When the government makes the sovereign lft announcement they'll required the mologic tests to be shipped not wait more time for them to be manufacturered. Then the Avacta tests will follow once and when he sovereign lft manufactures have completed TT. It will be a coordinated release of information which the government have hired in a PR company to execute on... GLA some exciting weeks ahead..
Yes Disciple13 I recall looking at their website back then. Merchantbank you beat me to the explanation... Good use of the lab services and we may see more contracts in this space going forward.
"I just need clarity on what exactly ODX are doing right now!"
@Velatastic they are making as many RTC antibody tests as possible, I assume shifts are now at 24/7 to meet the massive demand. While that's happening they are expanding the site ( several articles online from the contractor involved) and while that is happening they are doing the TT for Avacta's test while setting up all the loan machines that the government provided and while that is happening they are close to completing the Mologic TT so they can meet the government demand... and lot's more with the food testing etc... so they are not doing too much so don't worry your little head just be patient and see how this develops over the coming weeks.... A no brainer at this stage and were almost there... GLA..
At least the telegraph doesn't carry a picture of an actual test... All good, the dialog has changed and LFT's are going to be central to the Governments strategy. GLA...

Abingdon are giving their Interim Results to the Market on March 9th - makes sense to share news of government contracts in the interim results ( helps bury poor financials for the period- I wonder who has done that before... ). Seems plausible that Abingdon and ODX would be asked to make the same test by the government..
More like - "Speak to people, do deals, flog affimers to partners that are established not tiny companies..." AS and team are entitled to select quality partners after all the time and effort gone into affimers. Anyways I'm sure that lessons have been learnt and future partners will be ones that add value to the bottom line not waste AS and others valuable time.
but will there detection system get sold into cruises.. that's one very big IF.... be completely different if they had these type of customers then that would be a potential lucrative parnership but that's not the case...
PL75 - One can't put a price on time. One has to figure out before investing time in a parnership has it a chance in succeeding commercially otherwise there's no point investing time in the parnership. Saying using our affimers is great but how much time is consumed making that actually happen and then is that actually going to lead to something with a small player like Deepverge....
I don't know Gerard but I do know members of the snr mgt team at Deepverge. To be honest when we announced the partnership I stopped topping up here as it showed me that AS and team hadn't done their due diligence. Now I know the Avacta team have a lot going on but valuable time was wasted parterning with such a small company and basic due diligence would have highlighted flaws in hot air they were proposing. Anyways that has transpired as I expected and when I watched the Deepverge shareholders presentation it was obvious to all that theirs zero benefit to Avacta in investing any more valuable time in that partnership. Avacta have much bigger strategic plays to focus on. Finally now thats behind us and I'm sure AS and Co have learned lessons from it... GLA some exciting weeks/months ahead.
Yes he has answered this in the past, do some research on his posting history etc.. top man is Bigjock...
Thanks to BigJock for organising the Q&A with CK(Omega CEO).
Antibody – “We are currently building UK-RTC stock”
Abingdon and CIGA have been actively promoting the availability of ABC-19 and that they can be ordered now (no longer pre-order).
