Tally spelling it out.... Good.5 Feb 2023 13:55
In December 2021, the BoE’s base rate sat at just 0.1%. Thirteen months and 10 consecutive hikes later, it’s now at 4%, marking a 14-year high. And whilst the incremental increases have been felt by many in their mortgage, loan and credit card repayments, interest on easy-access savings accounts has remained pretty stagnant, with 3% about as good as it gets.
In the same period, the value of tally has gone up by more than 15%. So, whilst the price of gold does fluctuate (up and down), a £1000 deposit into your Tally Account back in December 2021 would now give you £1152 at your disposal.* Makes moving your savings out of the bank and into your Tally Account a real no-brainer, right?
