COPL will not do a placing as such as they have the tap feature anchored by a single institutional investor.
This has just been done and will cover the cost of all completions ,possible RBL fees and I costs for the MF.
The more pertinent question you should be asking is what is the relevance of this recompletion to the JV partner.

It’s bloody annoying that we cannot hold any rise.
But tbh tpart of the reason for this is the heavily discounted placing and warrants that were deemed necessary to get us to where we are now and people are dumping stock on the back of expected selling by bond holders.
Let’s hope as you say we get the big JV RNS sooner rather than later.

The million dollar question is how much will a major company pay NOW for an early bite of the cherry.
I’ve said it several times a cash payment of say 100 mill as an incentive would not even be Xmas party money for the likes of Exxon.
Hopefully we get an indication of where the JV is at before end of Jan.

Sorry I must be being a bit thick here. Why would confirming a flow rate an a work over that is immaterial to the larger plan for a JV partner but very material to COPL being profitable be deemed sensitive info?

As ever operationally things rolling along but PR is poor to say the least. The RNS ‘chores’ could surely be delegated to Arts daughter who seemed more than capable on the flaring hearing.

Just wish as part of JV we could wipe them they may help on an operational level but to equity holders the bonds are a lead weight.

I agree both parties want this done as ever it will be a negotiation on how much cash for how much working interest.
Timing of the cash injection and CC are a gentle reminder to snr mgt of JV partner to not take the p9ss as Copl can go alone if needed

Let’s not get transfixed with JV news by end of week all art has said was they will present their way forward sometime in Jan. Art has to tyrm review and see if acceptable

My take on Anavio is their potentially huge holding and backing of Art story gives them control in the event of a takeover.
When ‘the price is right’ and not before Art And his backers can make multiples here and take us along for the ride

Yesterdays drop was madness we are now funded for all near term value accredative actions - 6 recompletions that will materially add to production that is now unhedged!
We are now in a very strong position to negotiate with the JV partner for the best deal possible and all for the crazy mkt cap under 50 mill….
