Hi Super - I also watched the commons last night - I was shocked at how poorly they behaved - who could have ever thought that the juvenile actions would be a good idea? We need an election - let the people decide. Can’t happen soon enough for me.

BX I totally agree that we have the best solution to assist with the fight against the Opiod crisis but we are still fighting against the DOJ and the US justice system. A fight that I am glad we took on and one I believe we will win but a fight nevertheless that has decimated our SP and almost certainly stalled the development of other like products. I have a substantial invest here so I am obviously confident of the outcome, I just want the dispute to be over.

Hi guys - the whole PM’s market is suffering so it makes sense that Barrick as the largest player will suffer the most - they will of course also bounce back the quickest when things turn again.

With regard to your implication that HMQ can or will do anything other than approve whatever her Prime Minister proposes is slightly disingenuous as She is far to seasoned to get involved, by signing the Acts presented to her she neither endorses or condones the contents she wisely simply follows protocol. She is loyal to her Prime Minister or more correctly he is loyal to her she has no constitutional view on the individual. She does not have the constitutional authority to agree a general election outside of laid down procedures. I personally believe we are closer to a no deal / clean break exit from the EU than ever because of the actions of the remain politicians. I also believe that despite the actions of Parliament that an election is imminent and indeed the only way for the people to break the current deadlock - our system only works when one party has a clear majority and can implement its policies - I for one will be happy with a clear mandate whoever wins.

I think MrT is a virtual cert for another term but he will want a deal with the Chinese before then to boost the US economy - the Chinese in turn are desperate for a resolution but the political stakes for them are massive so a cleverly worded trade agreement (if only covering some of the issues) will be implemented in time for the election.

The problem is of course JD, that the US action will make pharmaceutical companies reluctant to offer a solution that may later subject them to litigation - I believe INDV offers the best treatment but it obviously has some risks which need to be fully understood and accepted by GP’s and the NHS before they prescribe.

Good morning Meetup, do I understand your post correctly in that INDV who proposed the motion to dismiss are now objecting to it as they must believe that they are entitled to some form of recompense that would not otherwise be available on dismissal - as they believe they can prove that there was wrongdoing by the Jury? Or are they objecting to the dismissal until the documents are sealed?

Well Tiger a little later today, dip probably on the back of slightly lower Silver - but as FRES had not caught up with the pricing anyway, I thought I would have a trading punt - the discipline for me will be to remember they are just to trade and sell them again - can’t promise.

Obviously I took a glance at CYBG today - it has dropped from about £3.40 to £1.10 since 1sr August and nothing seems to be holding it off 80p. We have no PPI legacy issues - another reason I prefer the opportunity presented here than elsewhere in the sector.

For the first time I can remember I am struggling to buy at market size - no firm quote is available - I thought a market size sale or purchase was guaranteed? Very odd.

Yes Tiger - we are still lagging on the rise of Silver alone but inching our way closer - I agree with your 1% / 3% figure - as suggested before I can easily foresee an 80p or £1 increase one day soon just to get us back in the right ballpark - tempted to trade the trend just not something I normally bother with but could be fun for additional shares.

Welcome mh. What you suggest would certainly not do us any harm and I would be all for it. The Directors may consider that they report enough, especially as an update is due out in a few weeks and of course it is their job to run the company not monitor the SP. Gold and more importantly Silver is strong and the shorters are certainly under severe pressure so perhaps the market will do its job and get the SP back to where it should be, my view is over £9, without any further immediate input from the company.

No idea K - I can foresee some bouncing around but as I am a buyer at these levels I obviously believe the trend will be up.

Hasiba, not suggesting for a second you sell any of these but if you still have spare cash from ACA take a quick look at AMGO - I have added again today. You will appreciate the very solid fundamentals although like me you may have to hold your nose a little - worth a small punt? ATB

I have taken advantage of the dip today and increased by holding to 160k shares - sound company making very decent profits - oversold - broker recommendations average well over £2 - already fallen out of 250 - confident buy.

Armada - you are quite right - I apologise - can’t think what I did to come up with 7m it is 1m.

RNS indicates that Investco sold off about 7m shares yesterday which would account for the drop. They still hold over 13% (475m) so let’s hope that it was just a rebalance and not just a first step. The big drop followed confirmation by the company in what otherwise would have been viewed as an excellent set of results that they intended to concentrate on new business rather that maximises on repeat customers - I for one think this is a good thing. The dividend is excellent and secure. Strong buy for me - added a few more today.

Hi hasiba, well done - I know you were holding off and that you were for a long time reluctant to invest. The fact that you have gone in ‘big’ raises my own confidence level. As you will not be leveraged and can wait out this madness, as indeed will I, we will do well - your average is excellent. Don’t get caught up too much on this board it will drive you crazy.
