FWIW, the resource report reads OK, but is not JORC compliant yet.
the 90m tonnes figure can be put to one side as only 30m te of that is recoverable.
Of that, 20m tonnes is accessible to underground mining (= much more expensive than high wall)
And only 2m tonnes currently permitted.

So I think the market sees:
Permitting risk - I know it's mining friendly jurisdiction, product is needed etc but it's a risk until the permits are in hand.
Relatively low proportion of the coal accessible by cheap methods
There will presumably be some as yet unknown development costs to get new areas of resource into production
Falling coal price
Almost certain some kind of recession coming = demand destruction = coal prices normalising

No, I mean proper production reports, half year financial report etc, not the CEO verbal comments (in which he isn't allowed to say anything price sensitive) to the Roast clowns.

Correct Kernow. As with the commencement of train deliveries, the market knows that a resource report is imminent, and has even been given the wink that it's a "significant" upgrade via podcasts etc. So likely as not the market will go "meh" when it lands.
You are right. The market needs to see ACTUAL production figures, ACTUAL cash flow figures before rerating the shares in either direction.

Not really. It depends of course but if loads of people have bought into a stock because of a widely expected event, who is left to buy in once it's actually announced? Traders are looking for an edge, and there's rarely an edge in trying to trade news that's already priced in.

Sonny, it's the same in every share that has heavily promoted/hyped/known about "news". News lands, SP does f all. And when you think logically, why should "news" move the SP when the market was already expecting it.
It's unexpected news which moves share prices.

Also don't think there will be a dividend this year if the company is still having to draw down on lending facilities. If they were that confident on cash rolling in they wouldn't have drawn another £5m just to keep working capital in the business. And yes, the £6m raised at 20p seems to have disappeared.

Market seems to think shares fairly priced for now. I've sold the rest of my holding, should have done it yesterday on the spike to 94p, but price action turning bearish so no point holding vainly in hope for further bags IMO.
Don't like the cosy relationship with the Sunday Roast amateurs. The delay to volume offtake and unclear timescales on ramp up don't make sense to me and suggest all may not be well.

Will keep an eye on it and may buy back in if it visits 60p region again. If it doesn't, I have had a fantastic ride from 18p.

Other thing weighing on price is probably US government comments regarding coal. I know we're coking coal not thermal coal etc etc but can't believe comments like that from the US government don't have an impact on sentiment towards a US coal miner.

SuperSym, he said 30kte in stock. We don't know how much ROM coal has been trucked off site since February. I think it's reasonable to expect there to have been a ramp up/debottlenecking phase. You can't go from zero to 20kte/month production from day 1.
30kte washed coal suggests 60kte mined to produce that stock pile. Plus the 5kte ROM coal in stock, plus whatever has been despatched by truck. At least 70kte mined since start of operations, doesn't seem too bad to me. What we want to see is production rate from now - should be 30kte-40kte per month washed coal.
Anyway, good to see the first train away.

Yes it would be good to see some actual numbers from the companies, rather than %'s. Perhaps there's a reason they never release actual numbers?
Still burning cash too, they will have to raise to keep the lights on at some point IMO.

Nobody's going to takeover Mode. It's an absolute dog, no cashflow to speak of, low user base, product that nobody really wants - especially in a time of crashing crypto values, better off to take cashback as fiat through one of the many companies who do that, burning cash like there's no tomorrow.
Anyone who might be interested in acquiring a business like Mode will have the ability to just do it themselves and avoid acquiring a load of legacy issues.

My other question was about where you've got information about the ship timing and train timing from? That's either insider info or BS.
I'm also in from early days but the rail spur and washplant have been finished for weeks now and still no train, yet the market is screaming for product. It's a bit odd.

There's a difference between "trying to help" and ramping with nonsensical and plain wrong information. That helps no one.
If I was being charitable I'd say someone who's stupid enough to make such a basic error (and then compound it by broadcasting their precise location to all and sundry in a botched attempt to share the image) isn't worth listening to for investment advice.

FFS! Google Live means it's overlaying traffic data etc for journey planning. Not that the satellite images are live! LOL! Google satellite images are years old, daily updated satellite images are commercially available but they cost bucks.

If they needed to raise £8m it would more than double the shares in issue, probably treble or quadruple as they would doubtless have to be at a huge discount.

I think in cities like London we will see other innovations. Quite easy to imagine a "Chargeroo" type service whereby someone comes and takes your car in the middle of the night (or whenever you ask them to), to a rapid charger nearby and return it so that it's there ready when you wake up.
Or you just ensure you arrive home with enough juice for the next day, like we all do with fuelled cars.
Also, as you suggest I think we could see private care ownership in big cities and more car clubs and shared vehicles, particularly with the higher capital cost of EVs.

I live in a rural area and am about to order a new car. All of the showrooms I've been to (cheaper end of the market) have said the majority of their enquiries are for EVs. I see more and more EVs on the road every day, adoption is accelerating fast.
