RE: Explosive Upside here24 Feb 2023 12:38
Another Great link Nissan - 'More Very Positive Word' is getting published in the right places to the right people/organisations -Thank you for posting!!
'Just a reminder':-
Gentamicin is used to safely treat approximately 100,000 babies a year in emergency care. However, one in 500 babies who carry a gene change is susceptible to hearing loss if treated with the drug. Babies only undertake genetic testing if they are discovered to have lost their hearing after being given gentamicin. Treating hearing loss with a bilateral cochlear implant costs around £65,000 in the first year.
(This article does not say what the further costs of Cochlea Implants are after the first year for each Baby/Child/Adult?)
Out AIHL Test costs about £80 per Test, and I think it has been said that about 90% of the 100,000 Babies that are currently treated with Gentamicin should be Tested with our AIHL Test?! - Not sure why All 100,000 would not be Tested?
So if 90,000 babies Tested with our AIHL Test at £80/Test = £7,200,000 revenue to GDR per year
It is estimated that 200 babies per year will be saved from Hearing Loss through our Test - Brilliant!!
Also the cost saving is about 200 x £65,000 each year on Cochlear Implant saving = £13,000,000 per year saving to the NHS. The article does not say what the saving in Cochlea Implants after the first year ?
So the NHS savings after Test costs of £7,200,000 = £13,000.000 - £7,200,000 = a saving of £5,800,000 per year - which is the number I have read published before!!!
''And then we have the Rest of the World to supply with our 'First in the World' Test Too !!!''
The NHS does not have to buy our Test machine up front at a cost of £5,000 per Machine - But has the option to pay slightly more for each Test to cover the cost of the machine!!! A Big up front saving if desired!!!
