Oracle1953, the LSE and especially AIM is a very efficient machine for transferring money from the pis to the iis. The secret is to never get greedy. Like TP, took the profit and is done. Like me, watched the movements like a hawk and sat out my great switcheroo to the last minuet and decided there was nothing left so did nothing. The ability to sit on your hands and sit it out is greater skill than algebra, calculus, statistics and reverse engineering where the LSE is concerned.

The effect of retail costs such as fuel and fees (yet to be introduced) does not equate to a sp drop as seen. Not least because the cost is passed on to tickets which actually increases cash flow!!!! Yes that is a real thing in business and something to be very careful of when evaluating the cash flow declarations and forecasts. As BP famously said during the forecourt wars in Blair's day when Brown was hiking fuel taxes - they make more money selling sandwiches than they do petrol!

You are all now going to be subjected of days worth of excuses as to why the sp is crashing. 99% will be rubbish. Perhaps look back over the last couple of weeks and consider the points raised by those warning things were not looking good and indeed there were red flags against the trade, and compare to the other side who were promising riches beyond your wildest imagination. Then consider which counsel should be given credibility and which should not. Do a full 360 on probabilities and invest or not as you see fit.

After the lamentable delay last time in 'quelling' the markets, are you going to sit back and let another week of daily 5% drops happen? You should be on at the IAG info email address demanding a statement in response to Berenberg's RI suggestion. This is a definite repeat performance. Some of you are so in love with the share you still just will not accept there is a problem with the debt will you. The whole of the peak season travel was lost. Wake up!

well I didn't switcheroo into IAG which was a correct call and I keep Easy J because a takeover is possible and indeed commented on in Brenenbergs latest note. Weak evidence but to even make such a point when it would have been far easier to leave it out is a little sign to me something is in the air tonight, I can feel it, lol

How many remain in your little group now the sp tanks below 160??? How many are actually just a little bit mad at having been pulled along and duped in the ramp fest? Sorry but there is nothing to save the day. You were taken for a ride by the ramp fest boiler room and you now have to consider the full 360 and potential timelines and investing techniques back to paper profit and make your own choice.

The point I was wanting to make but pressed the wrong button, is that when one of the block tanks, like IAG, it looks like the algorithms pull down everything else rather than trading the share in isolation.

Yes the whole sector is down, it tends to go up and down as a block. I think a lot of that is due to the computer algorithms trading the bloc. I have given up waiting for the shares in the sector to decouple so one can be played against the other. In fact the movement as a block is such that it might be appropriate for the FCC to have a look at it to be honest.
