I have actually been though every single article on their to the denial of any rights issue and nothing lol. I’m not sure if you saw last years rights issues or what. I mean I do think it’s priced correctly ish for where we are at but who knows what the 5th November will bring but with us opening and new York flights looking good I think 190-195 for Christmas if all goes well.

..... and it's back. Claims that IAG have ruled out a RI, and forever. That is plain wrong. So here we go again around the circle. The CEO said no 'emergency' tapping of funds. That was some 6 weeks ago so we can take that one as read. As far as looking forward goes, the ceo went on to say;

To date, the conclusion of the available 'alternatives' has not been disclosed. That ceo statement was mid-september. By mid-October we have this assessment from another broker;

When that dilution risk comes about is a point for debate. At the Q3 results, new year, full year results in Feb??

There has been a strange lull in the false claims that dilution risks have been removed. The goldfish syndrome? Take an item out of the debate for a short time expecting the points made surrounding that item to fade from memory and then reimpose the item with the angle you wish. The methodology completely misunderstands how NLP works and is the sort of low level psychology a cheap used car salesman uses. People convince themselves they have some superior manipulation powers over others despite repeated failures to do actually manipulate anybody.

The threat of dilution hasn't just NOT gone away, it has been instead been underwritten by the latest reference by Berenberg. No form of word twisting is going to change it and the concept of likely further dilution is well and truly imprinted on the mind thanks to those trying to deny it ensuring it subject is constantly in the fore thought of people's inner dialogue.

Let us remind ourselves of the original statements that raised the red flag...

You have to keep the lights on until the recovery is done. You need to fund the lights. Where you getting the funds from. Creditors don't accept jam tomorrow payments. And promises about recovery, what like promises of travel opening up starting March 2021?

can't remember predicting 300, but I bet it was a while ago. There have been significant negative events since. It is really quite pathetic to transpose a prediction, what, 6 months ago, before the summer season, and send it forward as if still valid.

The market knows? I think the boiler room here know too. There has been a noticeable abandonment trying to deny that further dilution is a strong possibility. Whether it is an RI, debt swap or YA death spiral, it is very difficult to see how money is going to be injected to cover the lost seasons and income without dilution. There could be an asset stripping exercise of course. I don't see the banks extending credit, there has been enough of that already. The budget might have an industry support package surprise!

Just did the car insurance renewals, 25% below the renewal quote thanks to U switch sending me a quote whilst on the phone to the insurer, with a lower quote for the same company, lol. Que lots of backpedaling matching the quote! I'll have that, that's a rather large pile of pennies for treats, yay!

What cheap entry point? I'm waiting for one thing, and only one thing. The dilution red flag to be removed. I never understand this game some seem to play of 'waiting' for entry points. It doesn't matter what price somebody buys as long as there is a high probability of a positive differential when they sell within the timescale they have assigned for that pot of money. It is clear why so many pis lose so much money.

I love the way the loss of income for spring, summer and nearly all of autumn is just ignored and not reference. We jump straight from a sp in March and equate it to today as if the intervening missing income just doesn't matter. I think you will find, when the interims are published, that missing income will matter. And then there is the dilution threat still hanging over IAG. All the rose tinted glasses coming out again. AND you've got cop26 - there are all sorts of crack pot schemes floating around to attack air travel.

The market will not be giving a full reaction to the budget statement, until the statement is given. To suggest otherwise is just ridiculous. How can that plain basic simple fact like that be deramping?

Won't get a full market movement until late this afternoon after the budget statement.

No test after arrival? No preflight test? Interesting that the contact details are to be held by the airlines on request rather than the states taking the information straight away. Indicates the US system is far from integrated. Will they demand fresh ESTA for all, most will be expired anyway. Also no word on restricted ports, seems any port will be accessible. Looking good.

Why would Easy J 'go down' if IAG does? They are certainly linked in the bulk automatic trading across the sector, but I can't see how IAG dilution would result in Easy J suffering. Easy J has done it's second dilution having lost the summer sales. A lot of people expect IAG to also do a second dilution. I think you have some sort of wishful thinking there, if you suffer then it is only fair everybody else does. Nice!
