Agreed Dan, 'green' fuels are largely PR at the moment. I know form engineering that there can be significant unknown unknowns when fixing something that isn't broken. Like with the recycling scam, shipping mountains of rubbish all around the world [no very much reduced thankfully], very significant local environmental damage at some recycling locations due to the chemicals that have to be used, all the bleach used then dumped in rivers for paper and card recycling, and then there is the problem of contaminated recycled material ending up in safety-critical component manufacture. Would you want the pressure vessel to be made of recycled aluminium with contaminants in the lattice creating multiple dislocations or new smelted aluminium?

How long now has this promise of 200 for IAG been made? How many jam tomorrows? You have called out so many events as THEE game changer where the sp will absolutely definitely catapult to 200+ that now such a prediction, if it happens, can be nothing more than a coincidence.

This market and air travel will remain depressed and problematic as long as the requirement for testing remains. And continuing restrictions such as the mask lobby holding onto airport and aircrafts as special zones forcing people to do something they would not otherwise do is just as off putting. I don't know a single person who likes having to wear a mask and not least because they know they are utterly useless in containing the spread of any disease.

And today is travel day at cop26 with potential problems for free travel, thankfully it looks like they are elbowed out but the environmentalist movement is now ensconced in all levels of government pan global and the potential for mad policies remains - like banning the sale of fossil fuelled vehicles in just shy over 8 years with no regard for the catastrophic consequences on western societies.

I will say again, not a long term stock, airlines. Some day trading opportunities post pandemic but until the climate change hysteria is finally outed, I predict more and more travel restrictions being introduced. I worry a little about changing the fuel composition. Modern engines, be they turbine or reciprocating, are very finely balanced an tuned pieces of machinery. They are calibrated for very particular fuels. For example, if sooting is changed by one or two percent, then sloughing of build up may not be as efficient and the dynamics of flow paths can be changed. I know this sort of problem from other flow dynamic problems in engineering. If the kinetics of the burn are changed only marginally, the heat distribution and dissipation can change leading to a whole head of changes that can result in additional stress, fatigue and eventually component failure. I don't think there has been anywhere near enough physical research into potential impacts of changing the fuel composition. Too much reliance on computer models that simply cannot replicate real world engine use. I am expecting to hear engine failure news, a brief report that the aircraft was using dirty fuel and then further engine failure news buried - like all the other negative consequences due to 'green' technology [like the serious pollution from solar cell factories!!!!!].

It is a very conscious lie and deliberate misdirection on the part of wobbly. He is a believer of the goldfish syndrome, thinking that planting a different image a few days later actual works and can be used to manipulate someone to create a false recovered memory.

As everybody knows, I bought and held through a couple of days to the Thursday so as not to be caught out by Friday results day. I earned over 6 bargain buckets for my efforts. The goldfish syndrome is a myth. You actually end up drawing attention to the event you are aiming to reprogram. With NLP, the normally person with the image to change must motivate themselves to make the change. The proportion of the population that is suggestible is never more than 20%. Private investor more like, possibly looking to buck the opening price and sell off during the day. That would be my educated guess. Risky move, mm doesn't have to correct price to reflect the size of the order and the transaction won't affect the opening sp directly unless people think something is going on and follow the pied Piper.

COP26 travel day. Tin hats, and into the bunkers. If travel, and especially airlines, survive without nothing more than rhetoric and pledges then the coveted green/blue finish may be attainable for tomorrow, or at least at the end of the week.

As far as decoupling of the shares in travel is concerned, I've been hanging on for that all through the year and there is no evidence that it is happening. A 'bulge' of trading passes from one airline stock to the next almost in a cycle. So one day Jet2 will have a spurt higher than the sector, the next day or two it will be EasyJ, then TUI ect. Same happens for declines in sp. Key events and corporate diary events shuffle the stock being pumped or dumped and changes the sequence. All the sector stocks will move markedly on US significant data. It indicates to me the algorithms driving the movements are more US fund based. There is of course a degree of noise and variability in there but there are nonetheless patterns. IAG was the dumped share yesterday, Easy today. Also, there is a much tighter correlation between IAG and Easy J for some reason. I have noted in the past that shares that sync closely in the same sector, sometimes merge!!!!! I doubt Easy J will be merging with IAG but.... I've seen stranger things happen.

..... and I'm not day trading Easy J, just sitting on a very large pile ready for next takeover rumour - before you all start carping about how I am suddenly destitute or whatever. Easy J drop today more likely linked to move to get minister to reinstate slot retention rules. Somebody somewhere may have dropped a comment that indicates a delay to the reinstatement or something on the schedule being longer than desired. More interested in TUI takeover rumour by Russion billionaire.

It really does look like the ramping boiler room has given up. The real world has caught up with them.

Not enough of a drop for me to consider a punt for a 5% profit take. The lockin periods with this one can turn out to be more than a week at a time so not worth it for an occasional % here and there. In a week or so there should be some stats around to compre Heathrow services, that could trigger some better market churn to day trade. My Easy J is being dragged further down to. Everything else seems static.

Just hope to get through this week without cop26 trying something heavy handed. The whole of tomorrow is dedicated to travel so if there is to be an ambush then it will be tomorrow. So far it has been a bit quite apart from the hysterical proclamations of a fighting for survival on a dying planet. Even hard nosed environmentalists have been cringing at some of the rhetoric.

This cure all pill is back being ramped. This is a red herring. Very curious why it is being repeatedly referred too. The Pfizer one has to be taken with HIV drugs. There are already treatments available and other new ones with a much better presale as it is a stand alone treatment. Seems some are hooked on the idea this Pfizer pill is some sort of solution and are holding on to that for dear life. Very odd.
