Have you got a reference because all I have been reading is an increasing consensus that invasion is going very badly. I posted info I had before he began that there was major problems in the mud and 'frozen fuel lines'. That bit might have got a little lost in translation as the problem with 'fuel lines' must have been referring to moving fuel supplies to the invasion group, on all fronts. But the west has given them time to begin to fix things and restart the campaign. Meanwhile the Ukrainian army is turning out to be a full on dedicated fighting force that goes back and retakes lost territory. Russia cannot win this conventionally.

Putin will try and achieve is regime change with chemical attack on Kyev, that way the centre can be preserved. He certainly senses west is too scared at the moment to do anything about it, and he is right. Nato has had a golden opportunity last week to take out the Russian air force and then the launchers. This was a significant tactical error believing Putin would be limiting his 'special operation' to his own propaganda. This missed opportunity will be regarded as the biggest error. By hook or crook, Putin is going to force his objectives irrespective of what weapons are required, chemical or battlefield nukes. He is currently playing strong arm terrorist sieges as demonstrations. The west and nato are sitting on their hands. He has nothing to fear. Not engaging Russian forces only emboldens him and shows to the inner circle that his prediction of a weak woke west is confirmed.

Of course he will run up the flag half way, then take it down and do this a few times. All part of the coercion, intimidation and terrorising trying to fore capitulation. He has it from the US, he knew that before starting, as Trump said in a colorful way, clever moves, clever planning and playing the west and its leaders perfectly. And it continues.

This soft war has always existed and these days is so intense you end up with a USA situation where you have to invent an insurrection [without weapons] and rely on media outlets to actually censor and even ban elected representatives.

I still call for MI5 to conduct a deep probe to identifier the prime movers and agitators. It is still likely the partygate 'thing' was seized on and then amplified by EU handlers, but were Russian agents pushing EU, either at commission level or at local official level? It is good that a lot o the individual governments and some parts of the commission have woken up to the real world.

Fug, the allegations creating bioweapons. As for nukes, it is very difficult to hide what you are doing and there was a large degree of integration with western countries at the engineering and academic level. Evidence to try and claim something like a dirty bomb is probably being set up at Chernobyl as we speak but when revealed to the world will probably so laughable the rest of the planet will be rolling around laughing. Same with the bioweapon claims. Us and many other countries are involved in cleaning up the mess left by the Soviet era in bio labs in Ukraine and a lot of work on covid like the rest of the planet. When separatists in Crimea were given SAMs, they quickly shot down the Malaysia plane and the SAMs were quickly taken away. I doubt the separatists will be given free access to SAMs again even with Russian commanders now alongside them. It would be interesting to know however, are the separatists group readily accepting orders from Moscow and local commanders in Russian army. I wonder what is going on in those enclaves.

Remarkably Putin is allowed to post on Twitter [according to google search] but not Trump. In fact, there are rather a lot of very violent murderous war mongers on Facebook and Twitter posting the most appalling false information.

But Trump is seen as a greater evil and banned.

I have never signed up to any social network because I never trusted the claimed liberal approach was for real. There was always something of the hippie about them with empathise directed along conspiracy theory lines, i.e. everything about the US and west is lies and those claimed to be the enemy are just misunderstood and the oppressed.

Well that's worked out well. Allowing postings attacking Putin 2 weeks into a brutal invasion doesn't suddenly fix anything. They've allowed the peddling of the Putin doctrine excluding opposition with filtering algorithms and now they are exposed. This is also how the climate change lie is perpetuated. The end of these social media platforms should be neigh.

What Mr Dribbles, "cut out cities and built up areas", but only within 20-40 odd miles of the border? What use was that? A country he size of that? They have resorted to middle age siege tactics of civilian populations in a few towns and cities close to the border or sea. And that isn't working very well because a lot of those places are being retaken and the Ukrainians are going on the offence up the columns. It's a complete shambles and there is nothing in reserve, most of the special ops units have been destroyed as they try to penetrate the towns and sabotage behind the lines. The Ukrainians are turning out to have the steel to pull the trigger to actually hit the enemy. No token firing over the heads, they are firing at the head! Any one who knows anything about battle will understand the attitude behind that.
