In the " free western society" people are able to voice their opinion of how things should be (normally in hindsight) without having to beware of open windows, powder marks or funny tasting tea. But then again, is it a surprise Russia would want to align to somebody with this attitude;

We all know about this man.

He fancies himself as a bit of a pin up and fosters some delusion he can somehow take Zelensky's place. He has pitched a platform of how he could do better (hindsight only) and in the usual delusional way of the wannabes of this world he expects people to follow. He is a mere sideline figure of no consequence or relevance except in providing propaganda material for the enemy. Another own goal.
All you need to know is here. One terrorist regime thanking for support from another terrorist regime. That is what Russia has reduced itself to. Aligned with North Korea, Iran and Hamas.
And some of you think the push to have Russia expelled from Brics is some sort of throw away propaganda? Think again, it is an active proposal gaining traction more and more. The ultimatum started with the exclusive peace conference Putin wasn't invited to, then the UN discussions - again Putin excluded for the most part, now Putin has been summoned to attend a dressing down session in person where he will be ordered by China with the backing of a wide range on non-western security delegates to leave Ukraine or be ostracised entirely form all global forums and economic opportunities. China won't let Russians starve to death, but will engineer a return to Soviet era food queues. Let the people decide (irony!).
F16s will be active soon, basically it is over for Russia and the stupid folly it undertook. Gain zero, loss massive and ongoing for generations.
Before you start whinging

We have to think though there are two Wagners, Pro-Putin Wagner and Pro-Russia Wagner.
Remember that for future reference.
Putin's finger prints are on the Gazza triggers, Russian supplied MPADS and rockets. More war escalation to come in Africa pitching tribe against tribe. Then a Russian incursion into Afghanistan. Putin is pushing conflict everywhere he can trying to create distractions from the debacle in Ukraine as Ukraine makes ever bigger advances and the collapse of the Russian war machine in Ukraine approaches.
Putin is returning to a 'safe' familiar place, with the Soviet Union engaged in wars showing off military strength and making others shy away in fear. Except the mask has fallen off and recreating the wars of yesteryear will not restore the former fantasy of world power, the mission in Afghanistan will not be revisited and accomplished and the influence in Africa and central Latin America is now non-existent as China rules the 'rest of the world'.
There are murmurings being intercepted that the BRICS group is moving to censure Russia for continuing the Ukraine war, one significant member wants to see them expelled in the same way Russia was expelled from the G8. It's not going well for Russia and stoking up old wars and conflicts will only make matters worse.
The consequences for POLY? They have left the sale of the Russian assets far to late and will be forced to sell at a major discount. They may even have to do a 1$ deal!
In a few years you will be lucky if the Rubel will be worth 5% of its present value.
The media wanted a show and were irritated not being presented one. This is very old ground. The actual people involved on the ground never promised or even hinted at shock and awe. The fact Ukraine doing its own thing at its own pace screwing up some reporters holiday plans is of no consequence. Media is learning on many fronts, from Trump, Brexit, net zero, Ukraine.... it has nowhere near the control and power it likes to think it has. @e do our own thing anyway.
"I thought the counteroffensive was supposed to be a blitzkrieg? "
You thought wrong, nobody ever said it, only propagandists like the BBC tried to retrospectively claim that was the intention and therefore declare a failure. Right from the start the counter offensive was declared as an incremental grind, subsequently slowed due to massive quantities of mines. The 'start' was played out over 2 months alone before even advancing on the Russian line.
Propaganda like yours relies on he false idea people only have the memory span of a gold fish. Actually, as the net zero climate alarmists are finding, people's memories are much longer term and get more acute as time passes.
News on the wire is concluding that delays due to the excessive minefields have done no more that - delay, there are multiple breaches along the line, big offensives by Russia in the north east have been checked, Ukraine forces have been carefully securing strategic locations, the Abrams with depleted U shells are arriving, there is dissent and actual rioting all across the Russian army, the Russian major propaganda campaign is only having limited effect, a few Republicans held to ransom in the states, a couple of former soviet states in eastern europe pushed away from the pro-Ukraine consensus (will be interesting to see what happens in those states as the Russian suppression of freedoms is invited in by governments will less that a quarter of the vote, huh!).
I'm sure the Putin apologists will be bouncing off the walls with glee thinking they have won everything outright with Slovakia or because non-military aid is delayed in the states. These are actually less significant than many issues that have gone before today and are perfect examples of opinion being allowed and expressed.
Just see how Slovakians respond as Russian authoritarianism appears in their land. The pro-Russian minority government will not last long, no matter how hard the Kremlin propagandists work at it.
The military kit arriving continues to increase, with wider and more powerful and sophisticated arms, the F16 will be in use in the near future with their highly advanced weaponry, the Russian army has revolted once already and saw the lie in the Kremlin promises and Priggies standing orders will ultimately be carried out. A major collapse in the Russian army will occur if Russia attempts to fight through the winter. The internal security in Russia is collapsing with Partisans now active in most western regions and beyond, ethnic tensions are escalating fast reacting to the way the ethnic groups have been used and abused in the war. The economy is tanking, major investors from BRICS and elsewhere are withdrawing, China is stepping further and further away, India is buying less and less oil and gas as security of supply becomes more important than price, likewise with China.
It is falling apart against the chip, chip, chip. Soon, key pillars are going to fall and like a house of cards, the whole country will collapse in to a dirty bloody civil war. And it is everything Russia and its compliant people deserve.
And here we go again, highly selective posts. You are hysterical with this desperation to believe you have scored a point. Overall, through a number of trades, I held on a last sale at 240 for many months. I twigged and sold out break even in January. No amount of twisting, spinning, lieing, fakery, mis qouting, selective quoting, amnesia, psychotic masturbating or imagining your dirty secret will ever change the actual physical reality.
You are a total loser.
MUPPET!!
Relegated to an exchange with a mere 14 other securities. Over laden with burgeoning debt. Forced to sell Russian assets at a discount getting bigger by the day. Dividend promises that never arrive. I got out breakeven. I was one of the lucky ones. Others have lost fortunes believing the ramping crap posted on here and elsewhere. Tens, hundreds of thousands lost. Yet still the pathetic ramping goes on.
You've been mugged muppets.
Wriggle and squirm. you're quite obviously experiencing discomfort trying to force fit a retrospective qualification. The board stated clearly they HAD to split and sell the company and they had no choice. Suck it up.
The board delayed in doing what many other companies did straight away and many more have done so since. The board are now being forced to sell and worst still are still delaying despite openly advising time is running out. More dither and delay plays right into the hands of those expressing interest. As has been the case throughout, a fundamental error in strategy is still being made.
And when you have to resort to applying the non-existing rule that only people holding shares may comment, you are applying the basic level AIM ramping tactic of the boiler room used to dupe people in to taking an emotional siding and thereby by ill informed trading decisions. Do you call out all journalists, publications, commentators, bloggers, columnists, influencers and the like because they raise a critical note but are too not holders?
People like you are terrified of any balance because it knocks your ramping and coercion out for six. And you know it.
Shameless AIM level ramping. How many times now have these promises of great riches and dividends been made? And where are they? On past performance this is busted wide open. The serious error by the board continues, procrastination. Believing the Russian propaganda of an out right win in Ukraine is still just around the corner and after the magical triumph the world will also magically revert as if nothing had happened.
A serious error of judgement. Business conducted on the basis of emotion and nationalistic bias. It has failed.
No I won't "leave". When people like you start posting truths rather than fantasy ramping designed to fool and misleas the gullible, then my work is done.
"MOSCOW, Sept 25 (Reuters) - Gold and silver producer Polymetal International (POLY.MM), has completed a shortlist of potential buyers of its Russian assets but newly proposed taxes could significantly lower the price, chief executive Vitaly Nesis said on Monday."
This was always going to be the case by hook or by crook there would be little profit, if any, raised for PolyK holders from the forced sale of Russian assets. Forced due to the board's incompetence delaying over and over and continuing to delay the inevitable.
Its a mess, its a crock up, it was always avoidable.
Start being truthful for once in this utter farce.
There never was going to be any dividend this year. You all been strung along with the rampers with false promises. And such a crap valuation despite trying to flog the larger part if the business. It'll be a fire sale as the board repeats the error of holding out for a miracle that will never come and end up selling for a dollar debt free.
You muppets are being turned over.

You're in cloud cuckoo ramping land if you think you're getting any gain from sales after taxes fees bungs and debt write off.
Firstly there isn't an 'anti-Russian alliance'. There is an alliance supporting Ukraine against an aggressive invasion. Quite different. Perhaps with hindsight there should have been an anti-Russian approach, where any and all Russians anywhere are sought out and held to account. So far it is the Russian regime and those seen to be significant enablers who have been targeted often on a named basis.
As being seen this week there are no 'fractures' in support of Ukraine either. The Polish PM will come to regret trying to use arm supplies as leverage to hold onto a protectionist grain market - this is one of the problems with the EU but the Polish have gone too far and will encounter a serious backlash at some point for doing that. The protectionism of the EU will continue whether or not there are wars.
And in the US, the issue of funding is nothing to do with supplying arms. There are a few who don't want to fund any war irrespective of the combatants. For others it is the non-military funding that is the issue. Providing and funding weapons to defeat the Russian army and push them out of Ukraine is not a problem. See what happens when the F16 are handed over.
And let us also not forget that sowing the seeds of division and doubt was part of the intelligence war published a couple of months ago and much of what is seen is a result of the extensive Russian campaign there. But that is ephemeral, transitory and not in the real world. Too much real world intrudes and the propaganda campaign cannot overcome the real world events. The analysis always comes back to the same basic conclusion - Russia invaded and annexed territory and if not stopped will do it repeatedly causing war after war after war and never ending economic turbulence for all nations.
Russia will soon be issued an order by the very few friends and allies it has left to withdraw or they will cut Russia off completely. It's over for Russia and a living hell awaits on the other side.
"“We have some time, not very much, but we have time, so that the deal does not turn out to be an emergency, so that the shareholders of Polymetal International receive a reasonable, decent amount for Russian assets. It is clear that if we look at the situation with a sober look, we cant really hope to achieve same valuation as in 2021. There will be some kind of discount, but it needs to be measured as a percentage, not in multiples," he added, speaking about the price. "
There's your warning, the expectation being scaled back. Tries to dismiss fire sale, but can't "have some time, not very much",, "receive a reasonable, decent amount" - errm say that again, reasonable? "sober look, we cant really hope to achieve same valuation as in 2021" sober - here we go, how sober? " There will be some kind of discount" - but still trying to claim no fire sale.
You've been warned good and proper what to expect!!!!!!
"Remember the missile strike on the Market in Ukraine? "
Which one? Russia has been bombing markets, shopping centres, malls, shops and trading estates since day one.
There is always collateral damage in a war. Did Ukraine actually say it was Russian? Based on what has been gone before it would be a reasonable assumption. Key point is it won't have been deliberate, unlike the constant execution of Russian soldiers and civilians, yes Russian civilians shot dead by Russian 'liberating' soldiers, in the occupied territories often at point blank range!
